Nice Amish family ran bakery along I71 and a great alternative for breakfast for travelers. We checked it out for that purpose and were pleased to find several take away and car travel easy breakfast sandwiches to choose from. We ordered each the English Sunrise which is similar to the egg, sausage and cheese McMuffin but loads of flavor above with an homemade English muffin. It came with a small carton of something that was sweet and buttery, and we assumed was the sandwich spread - an explanation from our not overly friendly lady who took our order would have bee. helpful as we were obvious travelers.
We also ordered a few donuts and an apple fritter for later - holy moly were they huge!
We have added this site to our Waze stops for future breakfast travel stops.

I was using the laundromat next door in the evening when I noticed a few workers in the bakery and got a wonderful smell of bake goods cooking. The next morning before I left the area, I stopped and picked up several items. It was hard to choose, the cases were full with a broad variety of large donuts, fruit turnovers, muffins, etc.. The glazed donut was wonderful, the cherry turnover was loaded with fruit. The next time I'm through this area, I'll stop again.

Friend and I stopped on way to Groovy Plants Ranch. Has the raspberry mocha coffee and it was delicious. Friend also enjoyed her coffee. I ordered the cheesecake donut with starberry filling and she ordered an Apple fritter. Both were delicious. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars -no indoor seating. They did have tables outside in the front. Beware-a big bird’s nest was in the awning above my head.

Sadly, this is not the same place it was a few years back. Stopped for a dozen donuts yesterday at 7am and the lady helping us seemed irritated that we were there. After struggling through trying to have a pleasant interaction with her, we paid $23 for our 12 donuts and headed to our car to enjoy one. It was sooooo disappointing. Definitely not the same quality of donuts that we’ve had from here in the past. Sadly, we will be finding another treat stop for our trips through Ohio. Paying this much for donuts that taste to be day old grocery store donuts is just not okay.

Beware you will pay $50+ for 2 dz donuts and they don't do a bakers dz like most do. Also any donut deemed specialty is almost $3 more. But you won't know this till you check out as there are zero prices listed. I believe this is so when they charge the high prices you are to embarrassed to say anything.
Also asK for a breakdown of the charges because they happily overcharge you also.
I paid $70 for a coffee , quick bread, and 2 dz donuts of which 4 apparently were deemed specialty.
The manager is also extremely RUDE and CONDESCENDING.

I am praying that our experience today is not indicative of a change of ownership or business model.
This is the first time out of dozens of visits that they were entirely sold out of donuts at 1pm. Tomorrow is 7/4...so I am guessing that they were aware that it would be a busy few days?
The surly attitude from the cashier was also a first. I guess my Mocha order was too much for her. I've literally had a dozen of their Mochas...this is the first one that was barely lukewarm.
Very disappointing.

I'm telling you, do yourself a favor and STOP at 8 sisters! We made a stop looking for coffee- asked what was the best:"maple long john with cream filling and, crumbled bacon on top"! It was so yummy- also had a chocolate caramel macron- to die for great, and a wonderful french roast coffee. It made the rest of our trip wonderful.

Stopped in on our way to Columbus and what a nice surprise. Everything was delicious, service was quick and friendly. I loved the fact that the cream sticks were no so sweet as others! We got 7 “treats” and our total was about 18.00. We did pass it when we first went by and had to turn around. It’s on the right when heading east before McDonalds. We also arrived around 9:30 and they still had a nice selection. They did offer other breakfast items to eat, but we just picked up donuts.

I stumbled across this bakery at the Mt. Gilead Tesla Super Charger. It was such an amazing stop. It is connected to a produce stand, car wash etc... I was told they were pretty sold out but I ended up with some great bars & brownies. The self serve coffee was also delicious & really set up well. I will definitely be back!

Loved the Choices in the bakery the long horns were awsome! Lots of cream stuffed on inside.the coffee selection had many flavors the peanutbutter browni ice coffee was delicious. All the Bakery goods were fresh & Delicious. We definitely recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

Stopped by after the Owl Creek Auction for lunch and ordered the special which was a Turkey Club sandwich, off the charts delicious with brie cheese, loads of fresh turkey, bacon and bakery bread. Make it a point to visit, you will not be disappointed!

My family and I enjoyed stopping at this place for some local baked goods! We were not disappointed and enjoyed our lunch and the deserts.
Support this small business! And the amazing farmers stand directly beside it!

This was our first visit. We found out after we left (by reviewing their menu we took with us) that they offer breakfast items such as sandwiches. Had one of the ladies behind the counter said something like "Can I add a breakfast sandwich to your order" or "Did you see that we offer breakfast sandwiches?", they would have increased their sale with us. There was NOTHING to indicate they have things other than baked goods.
The coffee was excellent, the muffin and donuts were delicious. We were traveling so it would have been nice to know about the sandwiches.

Stopped here on the way home. The donuts are amazing look homemade. Will be stopping here evrytime I travel 71.

We received vouchers for this place as part of a B & B package we booked and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The pastries are just as good.
The only place they fall short is on service. My husband and I along with several others had to wait while the staff did other things. May have been that they were understaffed - they do run a drive through service in addition to the restaurant - but we visited this place on several occasions over the course of a week and it seemed to be a chronic problem.
