Inconsistent Food

The food is inconsistent. We just got carry out. The Greek salad had minimal feta. In past has been loaded. My husband ordered baked spaghetti. Had just a little cheese thrown in the middle. I feel often we are not receiving what we paid for

Good pizza at great prices

Local pizza, sub, salad eatery with friendly staff and great food! They support local youth activities too - makes you want to go there more often!

We did not try the pizza so cannot comment on that. However, we did order the pastas and salad and were very disappointed. The "Alfredo" sauce was soupy and tasted as if it came out of the can. The only thing Greek about the "Greek" salad was the packaged salad dressing. This only received the Average rating because we did not try the pizza.

Best Pizza

You search for the best pizza is over...Payne's Pizza is the place to be! An incredible recipe with quality toppings in generous amounts make this best pizza you can find! And with their daily deals you can feed the whole family for a great price. If you're not feeling pizza, their subs are also some of the best I've had. No matter if you're coming here for pizza or sub, you can't go wrong. It is a small family restaurant, not a 5 star building, but contrary to some other reviews, I don't find this place dirty, but rather a comfortable smalltown feel. I would strongly recommend Payne's to anyone, the food is incredible.

I don't care for their pizza but their salads and subs are good. They have good baked spaghetti. Their food is better eaten in the restaurant than home delivered

Have ordered here many times from take out to eat in. Always has been hot and delicious. The large tasty subs are my favorite (Italian).

Very good pizza

Got the Payne Supreme delivered to our room at the Country Inn to enjoy during the Final Four. My family of four gobbled it up and enjoyed the flavor of the thin crust. Thanks for the great slab!

Name says it all

More includes spaghetti, salads, subs, and soup of the day so everyone ought to be able to find something at Payne's. which is next to Kroger and Walmart. The place was packed on a Friday night so we used coupons in a local mailer and got our order to go. People were having fun and enjoying themselves, regardless of what Cobrar97 says. Go and judge for yourself.

Payne's pizza is excellent, subs and salads are by far some of the best. Everything is fresh made and you can tell that. Delivery service was fast right to our hotel

Decent food, dirty dining...

This restaurant used to be good. When the owner sold it to a family member, it all went down hill. The food is still about the same, but the dining experience is bad. Very dirty environment, dirty employees, etc. Many people go here because it's always been a good place to eat...but people are stopping more and more due to the cleanliness.

Not as good as it use to be

This was one of my favorite places in town. They started to use some type of liner to cook the pizza on and I think it makes the crust chewy. If you get a extra large it is not on one of these. So if I go I always have leftovers, not a bad thing! The salads seem smaller and the sandwiches have lost something as well. The two owners don't seem to be there as much and I think this is what has led to the decline. Not bad just not like it was.

Always quick service and tasty pizza.

You get vary good value and food for your money. Their daily specials only add to this. The atmosphere is great with large screen TV's and windows to look out of.

Great subs!

The Payne family make all the bread for their subs. The toppings are generous, and the service is fast. We usually pick up our food and every time we go in, the place is hopping.

Always good....

Paynes is a family run business and they work hard to give you good food. Their food is always tasty and filling. They do a great job of taking care of their hungry customers. And their salads are as fresh as you will find!! Their $6 lunch deal is the best around! Paynes is a great little place.... Try it!!

Flies, rude, yucky! Beware and don't go here.

They swept the floor right in front of the booth we were sitting in. Flies came with the pizza. We swatted the flies for about 10 minutes and then gave up and left. We thought the pizza was dry and tasted like cardboard. We ordered extra cheese but they must have not put it on or if they did it was skimpy. We thought it was terrible pizza. We were just passing through on our way to Michigan. There must be better pizza places in Marion OH or we feel sorry for the people who live there.
