Great hamburgers, but service is weak here!

Long wait for food after ordering. Drive thru order taker would not respond timely or confirm ordered items! Had to ask for confirmation by item! Sad! Young staff extreme cussing inside heard in the drive thru line!!! Again sad!

POOR SERVICE, TOO LONG OF WAIT

On a weekday approx 3:45 pm we pulled in to the carhop area and ordered 2 foot long coneys with onions and 1 drink. There was only 1 other vehicle on our side of the restaurant waiting on food . I paid and we waited a good 20 minutes before our order was brought out! No onions on either hotdog. The guy sitting in the vehicle beside ours got tired of waiting and called to iNquire about his order and then got upset and left! I asked the young man when he returned with some onions what the prob.em was today and he repacked he didn’t know!

Great hot dogs.

I love Sonic’s hot dogs. Unfortunately at this location, the facility & grounds are dirty and neglected. Service is usually very slow. It is very apparent that some adult supervision is needed. It is equally apparent that the owners have no pride in their restaurant. Too bad.

Worst experience ever

Totally worst experience in a restaurant in my whole life. First trip in went to one of the order stations, waited 5 minutes to place my order. Then I waited 10 minutes for just two counties and I decided to leave without them. I went today hoping things were different. Pulled into place my order at the CarHop station I was told to wait a minute to give my order I waited 5 minutes I kept bringing the red button nobody ever came back to take my order. So I went up to the drive-thru order that was a white SUV in front of me with about four kids in it and they just sat there to place their order I waited about 5 minutes and I'm just going to leave but the white car moved ahead they moved ahead because they never placed their order they never got waited on it. I stopped pushed a button nobody answered so I drove around the corner of the white truck I already left full of kids that was going to spend a ton of money, and there was a black car waiting at the window to get their order from the person inside. I left again I'll never go back. They obviously only have one person working I can't believe that for a franchise like that to be that horrible

Horrible Service

Workers did not respond to the drive through order taking system. Drove to window, ALL workers were on their phones and yelling at each other. One worker started walking towards the window, laughed, and turned around and walked away. Very unprofessional.

They stole my money

I ordered through the app. Their ice cream machine was broken and they wouldn't refund me the money I paid for iceie. Scam.

3 strikes and you're out!

I try to give every restaurant 3 tried before bailing out on them. Sonic in Marion failed the test all 3 times! Cold sandwiches, cheese on the food so cold and dried out that it seemed more like plastic, and tasteless and chewy burgers that looked as if they had been sitting out for awhile. In short, DON'T GO THERE!

Avoid the milkshakes

The other food is usually good and the service is fast. However the whipping cream ruined the milkshake particularly when it wasn't as fresh.

Health Department Complaint

Visit occurred 8/31/16 I filed a complaint with the local public health department after witnessing an employee LICK hot fudge from their fingers and the container before placing a lid on the sundae to pass through the drive-thru window. The health inspector visited Sonic the next day. The location confirmed the incident to the health inspector and via their social media site. The general manger apparently reprimanded the culprit but claimed the young worker was new and it was their first day. Apparently Sonic doesn't train their employees on proper food handling before they handle food. It doesn't appear they take food safety seriously based on prior health inspection reviews. A review of this Sonic's health inspection logs shows several critical violations over the years. My experience was horrifying and completely unacceptable. Obviously, we will never return.
