Excellent experience every time we are there. We’ve done the hibachi several time and last night we decided to sit at the bar for sushi. The food is always outstanding and the dining experience is always a pleasure. Highly recommended!

Birthday dinner!

We always love watching the chef's "performance" at the grill! Kids love the birthday pineapple with sparkler and the gift of wooden chopsticks in a wooden case! Fun time for us all! Love their steak, fried rice and noodles!! Yummy!

I visit this place about 4 times a year. It is a nice atmosphere and the people are always friendly. Price is on par with what you get and quantity is more than sufficient.

Always a fun show!

Been here a few times. You'll be seated with other folks unless you have a large group. Not sure of the number you need to get your own grill. Maybe 16 or so. Food is excellent, chef's are entertaining.

Delicious Food

The food is so good and the meat is so tender! It's fun to watch the chef cook in front of us and also interact with us.

Average? Generally speaking yes; for Marion OH no as they exceeded my expectations. I don’t find teppanyaki restaurants enjoyable since they’re typically quite mundane but Iron Chef worked hard to provide my guests and me with a satisfying meal in central Ohio. Couldn’t bring myself to order sushi but some of the guests (not sure of their perspective) said it’s okay. Not much more to say. Some shrimp and steak on the griddle presented by a chef with a sense of humor always works. Especially in Marion OH.

Fun atmosphere

This is a hibachi grill so the atmosphere is super fun. Food is great. I am not a shrimp person but the shrimp here is on point. Some really good sauces available that I believe are made there. Super cool atmosphere and great food.

Good food, good service

This is a fairly good Japanese style restaurant. The chef was friendly; however, did not do a great job correctly preparing the steak or seasoning the rice. The vegetables were well cooked and seasoned. Even though the strak was over cooked it was still tender. The service was very good.

Lots of young families

We were somewhat surprised (and pleased) that most of the folks in the Iron Chef this Sunday evening were young families with children. They, of course, enjoy the “show” that is part of teppenaki food preparation. Pretty good show, food, and service!

Great food made at your table--but expensive!

The food here us very good. And it is made at your table by a very entertaining chef. I can't complain about the food, the wait staff, or the cooks. But you will indeed have a high bill, especially if you bring your entire family. For a family of 4 or 5, expect to pay around $100 or a bit more, depending on what you get.

Amazing place to eat!

Fantastic food and environment! It's a little slower than your typical restaurant but so worth the wait! The sushi is phenomenal and so is the habachi! Plenty to eat and bring home!

Restaurant is a top choice in town BUT still the poorest quality of any Japanese Steak

House I have visited. Their salad dressing is very watered down. The steak portions are small and therefore the couple times I have given this restaurant a try they are unable to deliver the steak as medium rare. The steak is tender and flavorful just not as ordered. A large Sake was $8.00 and could easily be split by 2 The crab Rangoon was delicious but came AFTER the meal. The chefs are so soft spoken that they can often not be heard which cuts down on the enjoyment. Pricing is very high for this town, but normal for a Japanese Steak House We did not try the sushi so I can not comment but I am aware they have a very large selection of rolls.

Wonderful Birthday Dinner

Good Japanese steakhouse in Marion

When a colleague suggested we go here, I looked at the reviews and they looked great. The menu looked good, so we decided to go. The food was quite good and the chefs were entertaining. I had the scallops and they came with an egg sauce that was creamy and salty in all the right ways. Overall a good experience. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that their beer and wine list was pretty limited. I know they need to carry Japanese beers, but it wouldn't hurt to carry a craft beer or two to complement the list- but this seems par for the course for Japanese restaurants in general.

Service was lacking

It had been a couple years since we had been there so we wanted to go back. We liked it before and my daughter and I decided to go back for dinner. The food was good. Prices are way too high (costs extra for friend rice which we learned when we got the bill). However, the service was horrible. Hard to get noticed by the waiter. The chef had to finally call him over. He took my glass for a long waited refill and never came back. Ended up getting help from another waiter. We were there a long time. When we first got there, we asked if we could move down a little because my daughter gets nervous when crowded. We were told no. I don't think I'll be headed back super soon.
