Better quality Subs right down the street at Jimmy Johns

My food was mediocre at best. I know everyone's taste are different but for me, I'll stick with Jimmie Johns which is right down the street

Not up to standard from other Penn stations

So I hate giving this score for this location due to the fact it my be a newer location. The fries are excellent, no issue there. I ordered the the cheese steak, very messy and not what I’ve gotten from other Penn Station’s. I ordered the 8” and had very little meat the entire sandwich was falling out of the sandwich and it had one end with nothing but banana peppers and some onions. The Sandwich was not even cut well.

The service was fast and friendly. The fries are fresh cut and very good. The sandwich was ok nothing to really write home about. If you need a quick meal and want something more than a cold cut sub like subway this is a good choice.

Amazing Food

Everytime we eat here(often) it's amazing. I get the rueben & my boyfriend gets the steak (he's super picky too)..we love their bread.. The staff are always extremely friendly with just an all together welcoming vibe. An its always clean.. I def recommend if you haven't been here..even if u had a bad 1st experience everyone deserves a 2nd chance

I took my family to Penn Station for lunch. It was very unorganized and confusing to order. There were no clean tables to sit. The food was good but nothing different than other sub restaurants.

Decent, but way over-priced

For a fast food sub place, the food is decent enough. But the prices are outrageous for what you get! For just 2 subs, fries, and drinks, expect to pay into the mid-thirty dollar range, which my family and I consider to be priced way beyond what you should pay for their food. Penn Station seems to be trying to be an "upper crust" sub place and in doing so, they feel it necessary to overprice their food in comparison to quality. You can get comparable (maybe even better?) subs at other places in town for $15 cheaper.

Loved the variety they had here and the sub was delicious! Be sure to get the fries if you like a good, fresh french fry with some malt vinegar on top. Glad we went.

GREAT CHEESESTEAK!

My wife and I went in here, The cheesesteak was amazing. Super pricey and the employees were very young and even though they were very busy that didn't stop them from playing around while they were making food. Still tasted good it just took the 25 minutes to make my sandwich.

The service is awesome so far (it's a new location). They people are friendly and the food is good. Don't be in a hurry, because it's very slow if they are busy. Last time, we waited 20 minutes for food. No big deal if you are prepared.

Some competition for Subway

Penn Station opened a couple weeks ago next to Rosa and Roccos. Stopped in on my day off to see what an east coast sub was like and why someone would open a sub shop in a town that already has three Subways. Menu board is fairly simple and posted right at entry to store. Basic offerings are a six, eight, or twelve inch sub, fries, and drinks. They do have a salad, but it didn't look like much. Decided on the monthly special (philly cheesesteak) six inch plus small fries and a drink for 8.99 plus tax. It was good but I for nine bucks it should be. A couple other people who came in were confused by the menu. One left, another mistakenly thought she was getting a 12 inch sub for the six inch price. Workers were patient with all. Restrooms were clean and accessible and there is plenty of parking.
