First, I ordered steak combo dinners that were advertised as 8.99 and made the mistake of thinking price would adjust when order processed. Instead was charged $21 each meal. To top it off, the steak was pitiful. About 3/4 inch thick and gristly. My family eats here every month or so, but this time was not worth the money at all. Advertising the meal for a discount that didn't exist, then not even providing a decent piece of meat was unacceptable. If they wanted us to order over the phone, it should have been stated.

They cooked my husband's steak rare instead of medium well as ordered. I received 2 salads with the wrong dressing, and an order of mixed veggies that I didn't want. I ordered twin lobster tails and there was no butter for them, nor was it offered as an extra that I saw. When they get the food right, it's great, but we often get odd things or food prepared wrong.

Steve's could be a great place with a little work on their food. The atmosphere, menu selection and service were excellent. The food was up and down, My soup was excellent. My wife's salad dressing was sickening as was my sister's. My ribs were excellent but my steak was pretty bad. My steak was very tough and under-cooked. The wine was outstanding but a bit pricy. I'll try Steve's again but with lower expectations.

By the time I got my food home the streak was covered with a layer of geese or butter that had jelled and ruined the entire meal . The steak was unreadable. The next day I called the manager of the restaurant and the only concession was when I ordered again he would give me a small desert
I paid 38.00 for this meal and chucked it into the trash can
I am an retired Master Chef and for 38.00 dollars i expect a good meal what i got was a waste of time and money

My husband and I and our friends ate her about a month ago. The onion rings were a blob of onions and flour and tasted like the oil they were fried in. I ordered a burger that was overdone, and my husband had a steak that was also overcooked. I've been here before and was really hoping the food would be better at their new location. It was worse. We won't go again.

This was our second visit within a couple months; only went back as it was my brothers choice. First visit was not great. This time we were a table for 4; we did get seated right away, downhill from there. Our server was very nice but a ditz. She couldn't remember anything from one sentence to the next.
3 at our table got their very mediocre food (ribs, steak and shrimp), My prim rib came 10 mins later. It was cooked to the right doneness (medrare) but had absolute no flavor and the potato was only 1/2 baked. Definitely my last visit.

Just had the worst meal here. Ordered a strip steak. Don’t know what the meat was supposed to be, but it was not a strip steak...texture was horrible to chew plus absolutely no taste. My sister ordered a ribeye...had anyone seen a ribeye that was literally flat as a pancake? And no taste. The sides were good, but you go there for a good steak...and it used to be a good steak house. WTH happened?? Will NOT be back—ever!

Terrible. We had the chicken and the ribeye. Something tasted really funny with the chicken and we told the manager. She said that she had heard that feedback a lot (so then take it off the menu). We ordered a strip steak instead.
It took over 10 minutes to get the replacement meal. As a general rule in restaurants, if you are replacing a bad meal for a customer you do it ASAP.
The prime rib also had a weird taste to it. I was wondering if it was microwaved.
When the bill came both the nasty chicken AND the replacement meal were on the check. It took another ten minutes to get this resolved. When the check was finally resolved, the waiter disappeared so we had to go to the bar to pay.
As an ex-waiter, the right thing to do would have been to comp the chicken AND the steak.

We had 6 friends, one in a wheelchair and a service dog. Our waitress was fantastic! She was very attentive and pleasant. Our food was delivered hot prepared perfectly and delivered without much of a wait although we were not in a hurry. Our group will definitely return to Steve’s Dakota Grill.

Stopped for lunch on way home from Columbus,ordered bacon cheddar melt burger and fries. Wife ordered lemon pepper chicken, son ordered chicken tenders and fries, place looked nice clean , wife said hers was bland no flavor. I ate my burger finishing my fries and was thinking I ordered my burger medium was a bit more rare and the cheddar seemed like runny canned cheese for nachos, but the kicker is I was grabbing my pickle spear and surprise a nasty dead bug under it. I politely notified our server and he got the manager, he seen the bug and said he will remove it from our bill, but kinda looked at him like right. So he said he would get all of our meals ,so we got up and left .this was unfortunate for our server he was great and should have gotten a tip. It's really gross to think if there where any other bugs on the plate i missed and may have eaten. We will never stop there again. Wish I had taken a picture to post

They did a good job overall - steaks cooked correctly, request for broccoli cooked soft done well. Only issue is that we got sauteed mushrooms and they came in some sort of sauce that tasted like italian dressing. Ick. Sauteed means cooked in oil or butter. Wish they'd said something on the menu. But overall a great meal..

We had a reservation, and were seated promptly. Waitress Brittany was attentive and efficient. Our orders came out promptly, and food was excellent, especially the pork chops! We would certainly return, should we ever have occasion to go back to Marion. May all the nice employees make it safely through the coronavirus scare and the governor's order to discontinue sit-down dining in restaurants.

Ordered Prime Rib med rare. They delivered an over cooked piece of shoe leather. Then they told me that was the last prime rib. So I ordered a strip steak. That was rare but I just dealt with it. On a positive note the beer is cold. Disappointed is all I can say.

Amazing meal steak was perfectly done.
Shrimp was a bonus. Steak and shrimp for under $23 was a great bargain.
Service was Awesome.
We were celebrating our 33rd Anniversary
And they didn’t even know that.
Our waitress was so attentive to our needs.
We will go back for sure 😀❤️

Used their take out option and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered online and got exactly what we ordered, and it was ready on time for curbside pickup. Food was just as good as in restaurant. I think they had their full selection, too.
