Come hungry!
So impressed with the quantity of food received - and it was more than a lot, it was prepared well.
Rhyann our server was excellent, so sweet, nice and attentive.
Ordered an appetizer - the fried pickles. It was only $5.99 - thinking it would be a taste. It was 8 full sized spears.
The rolls were very fresh and warm, and even though the salad wasn’t special, it came home style, and big!
Each of us very much enjoyed our main course.

Visited after spending the day riding motorcycles at Mid-Ohio. We were hot, tired and hungry. Our server was excellent and the staff was observing COVID-19 protections, so we felt safe. The salad was great and we were given plenty of salad and bread. I had the rib-eye steak with grilled onions. It was phenomenal and perfectly cooked. The 10 oz. portion was sufficient. The only thing that could have made the meal better would be to have some local ciders on tap, since I can't have beer because of gluten. We'll be back!

We had a late dinner at the Brown Derby. Food was great and portions were plentiful. We ordered the fried shrimp and onion ring appetizers, and they were delicious. However, the family style tossed salad and yeast rolls would have been enough for us. Our only complaint was the long delay in getting our entrees (1 hour), so we ended up taking most of our main meal to go. Overall we’d recommend as the food was outstanding, but expect the kitchen to be slow.

The three of us went to Brown Derby Steakhouse in Ontario Ohio. I ordered the Cowboy steak (rare) which was $29.99 for my mom and I to share plus ordered another side of a sweet potato. My husband ordered an item from the appetizer section which came out like a meal which was the Buffalo chick on sticks ( 3) with fries. Plus we ordered the large Onion ring AS OUR APPETIZER. My meal comes with a large bowl (just like Oliver Gardens does). The waitress asked my husband and my mom if they would also like a salad and of course they both said “yes”. We got regular drinks and my husband also had 2 drinks from the bar. When we got our meal my steak was medium not Rare and my part of the shared salad after my second helping had a long eat which was Partially in my mouth that I had to pull out. We told the waitress and she just acted Nonchalant and asked if we wanted another bowl of salad!!! NO THANK YOU!! So then when we got our bill was showed $7.99 each for the salads and when asked she again was like well yes that’s what it is per plate from the “shared salad”! So little irritated about we just it we paid. So the next morning the more I thought about it again which really irritated me so I called Brown Derby and asked to speak to the manager, the girl that answered said she would have to find her if she wasn’t busy but when the so-called manager answered which she had the exact same voice as the girl that answered in the beginning so I proceeded to state my complaint to her about the shared big salad bowl and how it was wrong that they charged $7. 99 a person for my husband and my mom to share the shared bowl of salad. To no avail the manager didn’t give two hoots and said that that’s how it is. Your restaurant is ripping people off you should not put a huge bowl of salad to share and then turn around and charge people if they don’t buy an entrée. Which technically my husbands could’ve been an entrée for as much food came on it and Then when I asked how much a side salad cost the manager on the phone could not tell me how much a side cost the manager had no clue. The whole event was very disturbing considering this was one of our favorite places to come to plus bring company from out of town too as well

We ate at the Brown Derby today about 3 o'clock. They were busy at this time of day and we were seated promptly. Our server Kristy was very helpful at making menu recommendations. My wife ordered the salmon salad and I ordered the half rack of
ribs with sweet potato. We both had a crock of French onion soup. Our server warned us beforehand the soup was a little salty. And it was. But it was very good.. My wife said her Salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh. My ribs had good flavor but they were slightly overcooked for my liking. My sweet potato was awesome.. Our server Kristy was very attentive and we never had to ask for anything. Thanks. The prices are very reasonable and the service is awesome. Next time we're in the area we will definitely be back. The inside of the restaurant is like a roadhouse feel, nothing fancy but comfortable. It's good for celebrations and large groups too.

Came here for my son's birthday. There were four of us. 3 out of the 4 orders were incorrect. 2 steaks were ordered medium well and they were delivered to the table bloody and were actually rare. I orders my steak medium and it was well done. I couldn't hardly cut it with the steak knife. It seems like every time that I come here it is the same. I will not be back.

We order two 12 oz boneless ribeyes with a baked potatoes. My friend ordered steamed vegetables in lieu of salad. Salad is served family style with bread. The bread came with a margarine mixture that had an off taste. The salad was covered in imitation bacon bits and italian dressing. It was a large bowl with fresh veggies. Our potatoes were over cooked and came with margarine that had an off taste. My steak was med rare and came out med with a hint of something that tasted like liquid smoke. My friend's steak was ordered well done and came out med as well. We both ate about 1/3 of our steak and left the rest. We told the waiter but he made no attempt to correct the situation. Our bill was almost 80.00 with tip and we both drank water.

We have stopped her before. The food is pretty good and the service is good too. We stopped her for Mothers day dinner. The parking lot was packed but we walked right in and was seated promptly. Our server was friendly and took good care of us. My son has the fried shrimp with baked potato. He really like the shrimp. Our last visit he had the grilled shrimp and didn't care for them. My wife had a small sirloin called 'Wild Bill's Favorite" with a bake potato. The only issue she had was, she had to send back the steak because it was slightly under done. She like her food very much too. She did have the French onion soup too, she could not eat it because it was too salty. She knew the soup is salty because we had it before and she still ordered it. When the server brought her steak back, it was served on a new clean plate. I had the 1/2 slab of ribs with a baked sweet potato. The ribs were very good as was my potato. They serve fresh rolls with the meal. The salad is served family style and it was delicious with Italian dressing. The restaurant has off street parking and is handicap accessible. The prices are reasonable and the food is served hot and fresh. My only complaint as before they serve the food too fast. It seems like there should allow more time between soup, salad and the meal. I was still eating my salad when my dinner arrived.

Or party had a couple of the best steaks they’ve ever had. It must be the wood firing that makes them so tasty but they were thick and juicy!
Complete with a large potato, salad and yeasty dinner rolls the meal was one of the best I’ve had in many years. Highly recommend this unpretentious restaurant!

We haven't been to the Roadhouse to eat in many years. It's a bit run down and dated, but is clean. There were 5 in our party. We were seated at a round table in the center of the first room. Wait staff continuously "squeezed" through and bumped into one of our party. The overhead vent had condensation on it which eventually dripped down onto our table and into food. We asked to be moved and was placed just 3 tables away. The food was cooked perfect and was very tasty for 1 out 5 people at our table. Drinks were spectacular. Wait staff for our table was superb.

This was our second time here. It's about an hour drive. The place is rustic inside and could use a little updating. The service was excellent. I ordered ribs with sweet potato again. The first time the ribs were mushy. This time they were pretty good, but just a little fatty. They didn't come with bbq sauce but they bought me some. The potato was awesome. My son had shrimp and rice. He ate it but wouldn't get it again. He's not a fan of grilled shrimp. My wife ordered shrimp and sirloin. She didn't care for the steak, it was an odd cut. All the meals came with homemade rolls and a salad. Both of those items were delicious. We'll stop again and try something different. The prices are reasonable too.

If our server had been a bit more friendly, this could easily have been an excellent rating. My salad was good but not as fresh as some places. My medium steak was closer to medium well. Our server was professional but stuffy. Service was realtively slow. Great quality steaks at reasonable prices. Lots of free parking. Masks were on but the server didn't seem happy. Something was missing.

Where do I start? From the moment you walk in, it’s very cozy and local. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. We started with a huge salad bowl that we shared. Rolls were warm and delicious. My husband had the Filet Mignon which I also had a bite and it was amazing. Better than some fancy high priced restaurants. I had the grilled chicken breast with rice and it was awesome as well. Would highly recommend this place!

Went for dinner, ordered Ribeye, advertised as wood fired steak. Mine was at best guess boiled then threw on the grill for 1 side only for grill marks. It ate like it was a bologna sandwich. The texture was so far off from what a steak should be.
