We were on a road trip and wanted something other than fast food. This stop took us 3 miles off the highway, but was SOOO worth it. The staff was super nice and friendly. We were taken care of right away. Everything was clean, and the food was really great. The owner stopped by our table to take our order, and in asking about some of the menu items, she shared many of the recipes were her mothers'. Everything was really fresh and very tasty!! We even calculated how far it is from home so we can go back! HIGHLY recommend

If a diner was a hug…

Early on a Saturday morning I met a group for a day trip before hiking. We were greeted like old friends and introduced the the owner, Michelle and the rest of the ‘family’ that were taking care of us. The diner fare was outstanding and the coffee hot and endless. As one of our group members was celebrating a birthday the whole diner sang happy birthday and we were offered a delicious slice of cake from Michelle. The whole experience felt like a warm hug from your favorite aunt. I highly recommend getting a little out of the way before or after your hike to go visit.

Great Meal and Experience

We were fortunate to get a late reservation at Kindred Spirits and were glad we did. The meal was outstanding. The pasta of the day was chicken and cavatappi in a pesto sauce. It had a wonderful flavor with a warm finish. The filet was also excellent, cooked to perfection with a red wine reduction, mushrooms and sauteed onions. Probably the best “dining-out” meal we have had in a long, long time. Our server, Anna, was terrific, making great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Book your reservations early and you will be glad you did.

This is my favorite place to eat when I'm in Hocking Hills. Their food is really awesome and homemade. I Absolutely love their home fries, and breakfasts. They have homemade soups which the country veggie is my favorite. I always get it even if it's breakfast time! The service is great and I like to contribute to mom and pop restaurants. What sets this place apart from the other joints?!?! They use homemade ingredients, not frozen junk like others do. You will not be disappointed! I promise. I walk out full again today and now it's time to go home.

We Really Enjoyed!

We rented a cabin in the area for a few days and really enjoyed our breakfast at M & M Diner. My husband said his omelette was the best he had eaten in years. My French toast was also very good. Home fries and hash browns were also delicious. We enjoy local restaurants/diners when traveling and this one is worth returning to.

Great Local Restaurant. Yummy Food and Great People!!!

My family and I ate here for Breakfast one morning and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast foods were all delicious! And the staff are very friendly. The owner, Michelle, is very nice and made our 2 boys day by not only letting them play with some of her toys while we waited for our food… But then she let them take one toy each home! Another super nice thing was a couple from Michigan that were sitting close to our table paid for our breakfast… And so then we paid it forward and paid for another couples breakfast! I guess a local man started that ball rolling by paying for that Michigan couples meal. Kindness Matter! Pass it on! We cannot wait to come back to M&M to try Lunch!

Wedding Weekend In Ohio

We had an excellent home made meal the morning of our son's wedding! Some of us had breakfast, chicken and dumplings, cabbage rolls and other meals. The Service was very fast. Met the owner and all the staff. They were so amazing. We had the soon to Bride and Groom, their parents, siblings, friends and their 2 children. Totally recommend this restaurant anytime you have the opportunity to enjoy it! We are from Michigan and are only sorry we aren't close enough to come in to eat all the time! Thank you for having us!

Typical diner food with a hometown atmosphere

We stopped in on a Saturday morning around 11:30. That would have been a busy enough time, but it was during the Sasquatch Festival, so the place was packed. The waitresses and waiter were apologetic about the 15 minute wait (which was more than reasonable) and got everyone to their tables as soon as other diners left. The food came out promptly and tasted great. I have to eat dairy free, so they cleaned a section of the griddle for me so that I could eat American Fries, eggs, and bacon safely. Multiple people checked in with me to make sure that the order had come out correctly, even though it was a busy day. My husband’s food was great too. This is clearly a well-loved local establishment. The people who work there are familiar with many of the customers but friendly to everyone. It’s a small place with a lot of knick knacks on the walls. It could be brighter (some of the lights seem to be out), it could be less cluttered, but those things don’t matter at the end of the day, good food and great hospitality do. M&M diner is definitely worth a visit!

Family Trip Stop

You feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the doors. The entire staff is beyond friendly and ensure that you're well taken care of in a timely manner. Food was all home cooked and delicious.

Hocking Hills

I prefer little hometown restaurants over popular chain restaurants. This place did not disappoint. The food was out of site. My husband barely said two words after the food was brought to us. He was busy eating and enjoying his breakfast. The owner is a great people person and staff is attentive and courteous. We are there again the very next day. When we visit the area again, this is where we will be eating!

The food here was great. Veggie soup was tasty and served hot. Sandwiches were nice size and served hot...had the Reuben and Patty Melt. Michelle, the owner, was friendly and made us feel welcomed!

Delicious food with quick and very friendly service. Quirky decorations. Delicious pancakes. Try the pecan and blueberry. Large servings. Owner personally talked to each diner and asked questions about your visit.

A Classic Local Diner

We stopped here for breakfast and had a great meal. It definitely had a very "local" feel to it with lots of M&M (the candy) and Ohio State decorations. There were even some toys for the young diners. Our breakfast was all prepared perfectly, and we were told all made from scratch. I wish we had more time in the area so that we could have tried out some of the lunch options. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely stop in again for another meal.

Breakfast at M and M

We just stayed in downtown Logan while visiting nearby Hocking Hills We ate breakfast every morning for the 4 days we were there. By far the best breakfast restaurant we have eaten at. Rosa our host and all the other staff made us feel so welcome. We all exchanged hugs our last day because it was like leaving new friends

Stupendous!

Stopped by for a late breakfast/early lunch after Hiking in Hocking Hills. We would eat there every day thereafter for the 5 days of our trip. Super friendly staff, treated us like we were daily customers from town from the first day on. Sausage and bacon are outstanding. Large menu and daily specials. A must for anyone visiting the area!
