Best High Tea anywhere & we have tried many around the globe. Traditional & everything perfect from the sparkling to the finger sandwiches, scones and petits fours. A brilliant find so please support this amazing small business!

A friend and I went for lunch recently and what I found most appealing was the quiet peaceful atmosphere - at a lot of cafes these days you have to virtually shout to be heard - and that's to someone sitting next to you! While...there wasn't a huge menu to choose from we both opted for the 'ribbon sandwiches' (mine was egg, mayo and salad greens) with a few extra garnishes - orange slice, grapes, tomato and a few lettuce leaves. The sandwich was lovely and fresh and tasty but I thought a tad overpriced at $10. Beautiful gifts at the front of the café and a really lovely décor. I'd go back but probably just for coffee and cake instead of lunch. Very friendly staff.More

Rude and arogant. They assume people know the location. I was a visitor, no signage to inform visitors of requirement entering store. Bad advertisement for tourists visiting Ulverstone. Couldn't believe the rudeness and ignorance of the women sitting around the table. Nothing in here any...different to more friendly stores/cafes elsewhere in Ulverstone. Try fixing it rather than winging about customers as it has obviously been a reoccuring situation. Rude beyond belief.More

I’m reluctant to write a review of I’m in Heaven as it was so outstanding that I don’t want to it to become too popular! My friend and I had the high tea. Bookings for high tea are essential and should be done a few...days in advance. When we arrived, we were shown to a beautifully decorated large table set for two. The cups, saucers and plates were old bone china, the cutlery silver and the water glasses very fine. My friend ordered a lemon lime and butters which appeared in a fine hollow stemmed glass. This was complimentary as was a glass of champagne. There was a large variety of teas. My friend ordered strawberry cream while I had orange pekoe, both beautiful in their fine bone china tea pots. And then there was the food! Everything was perfect, from the two hot savoury pastries to the sandwiches (some of the best I’ve tasted) to the two scones (one plain, one fruit) to the sweet treats (ginger and caramel biscuit, lemon curd tart, chocolate cupcake, jelly cake and cheesecake). Service was pleasant and efficient too. The room was beautifully decorated. This was one of the best high teas we have enjoyed and we have both had high teas around the world. What a rare find.More

I think this place has gone out of business unfortunately. Their telephone has been disconnected. So sad if this is the case as it was a wonderful shop and Cafe.

Please don't make unfounded comments like this! We have not gone out of business, just having phone issues because of NBN. In future please get your facts straight.

Lovely gift store, interesting range of items. Th selection of specialty teas looked intriguing. Looks like a lovely peaceful place to eat too.

Always consistent with good food and a warm welcome. The ribbon sandwiches are delicious and the small cake selection is extensive.

I walked in the door and was transfered into another era. What a wonderful experience. I ordered the English breakfast tea which arrived on a silver platter and exquisite fine bone china which made the experience all the more provincial.

Popped in on the spur of the moment - WOW! Not sure how we have missed this place previously. Beautiful, reasonablly priced gifts. We ended up staying for lunch. The freshest egg sandwich and salad. My husband had the frittata which he said was very...tasty. Coffee and tea both very good.More
