One of the best in town. Make sure you book a table if you want to have a meal. It would be a shame if you went there and missed out

Went for a family lunch, ordered French onion soup only to be told they had run out. Being an onion factory, found this to be strange. Also as our group were all senior citizens, we found it very hard to communicate with the loud background...music. enjoyed our meals and the iced coffee was delicious.More

My family had a birthday lunch at Windows on Westella recently. I have previously been there for breakfast which was also fantastic. All the meals were delicious especially the stuffed mushrooms which were amazing! The locally made wine recommended by our waitress was excellent. The...cafe has very good covid safe practices including ample spacing between tables. They were very busy so I recommend booking. It's a pity though that patrons are not able to tour the pickled onion plant or at least view through windows.More

We turned up on time & was told our table of 8 was still being prepared. Eventually we were told the table was ready in a passing comment but not actually taken to our table to be seated. Drinks & food orders were fine. Meals...were delivered timely. My partners grilled fish & chips looked appalling (small bits of fish laid over a pile of fries). My Buddha Bowl looked nice however part way through our meal the fire alarm was activated. The staff looked confused & not sure what to do. We were eventually advised to proceed outside but no one took the lead or directed the 20 odd customers to the actual evacuation area. The manager finally arrived but not once did he come over to the groups of paying patrons to advise what was happening! My partner & I had to actually ask what was going on. After about 20 minutes the fire brigade arrived & we were eventually directed back into the restaurant- again without direction from the staff who were laughing amongst themselves without giving a damn about the patrons. It was left up to the wait staff & not the manager to advise we could get a replacement meal for those who were part way through & the coffees/drinks would be deducted from the bill. It was so late in the afternoon that I did not want a replacement meal & it took a great amount of discussion before it was agreed that my meal would not be charged. I am not usually an ungracious patron & I know the wait staff couldn’t help what happened but the lack of leadership from the manager was appalling!!! The meals were nothing to write home about but the cafe seems very popular with the locals - they can have it!!!More

We are sorry that your visit and meals were interrupted by the fire alarm. This has never happened during service and was caused by a faulty detector in a store area in the main factory area. The cafe staff did not know why the alarm...More

6 of us attended for lunch and although we hadn't made a booking the staff rearranged some tables and managed to fit us in to a full house. The main meals were hot and quite good without being exceptional and the sweets were huge. Recommended.

The restaurant was clean, spacious, Covid 19 aware, and service was quic. The food was great but apart from a small TV the pickles manufacture could not be seen.More

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Windows on Westrella. We had the freshest fish meal and a glorious waffle with chocolate ganache, strawberries and ice cream. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing with the friendliest staff I have been served...by in a long time. Once again a sincere thank you.More

Pretty average. Simple menu I thought it would be something more classy. Good descriptions weren’t great. Ordered creamy chicken noodle soup and was more like chicken and sweet corn with not a noodle in sight. Special sticky date waffles weren’t good either. Well priced and...good service thoughMore

We had a lovely late lunch at Windows on Westella. While the service was very slow at the start, they soon made up for it, and our meals were just beautiful. Thank you.

Delicious food and great prices. We had the grazing platter which had a good selection of local food and included a glass of wine each. Would definitely go again.
