We try to eat here for special occasions since it is quite expensive, but the price for the quality is well worth it.We dined here on June 20th which was our 12th anniversary. We made reservations on line even though we eat early.(at 5pm) It was a good thing we did as the restaurant was very busy. Everyone seemed ready to get out since the covid. They put us in the very back room of the restaurant and we asked to have a table by the window and they easily switched us. My husband and I are pretty much seafood snobs and we were not disappointed. We got the shrimp cocktail(HUGE!) and crabcakes for appetizers. Wonderful. For main course I got the twin lobster tails and my husband got the scallops. Perfect to share. Since it was our anniversary they gave us desserts.. The 10 layer carrot cake and the peanut butter pie were so yummy and huge that we took some home. Little chocolate sign on both was a nice touch. Cynthia, our server did a very nice job taking care of us. Be sure to get the martini with the bubbles and berries. Very cool with dry ice (.I'm pretty easy to entertain) My husband got a margarita that was not good at all. Not a problem though, as the food made up for that. Can't wait to go back!

We had been to Ocean Prime in Naples and had a great meal, so we planned this stop as we travelled through Columbus Ohio. Cameron Mitchell seems to have it figured out. We arrived a few minutes before our 5:00 pm reservation so we had a glass of red wine in the bar during happy hour and also shared the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli. This is a true win-win for us, happy hour prices and an early start. We moved to an outdoor table after the appetizer and there we ordered a bottle of Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon to share during dinner. Of course we corked it and took the balance home as we were traveling. We both had seafood, my wife the blackened Snapper and I had the Sea Bass. Both dishes were great. We shared the Chophouse Corn as a side dish. This was the only disappointment in an otherwise excellent experience. Not that it was bad but it was not what we expected after sharing the same in the Naples restaurant. Service was very good especially in the bar. The restaurant is very nice and we enjoyed dining outside.

My husband and I were visiting friends and four of us decided to go to Ocean Club. Was wonderful. First we had a drink at the bar and the cocktails were great. The bartender was so friendly and talked about different cocktails to get. Dinner was far better then I thought it would be. The blackened snapper amazing, crab cakes were really crab, not just bread stuffing and the ahi tuna my friend loved. Sharon, our server was so helpful and friendly, with suggestions to order and different wines. So glad we decided to go there. I just though it was another just ah seafood restaurant, but , it was just a wonderful meal. We can't wait to go again. The restaurant is also beautiful.

What a disappointment. Our service was poor from start to finish. They seemed to have plenty of waitstaff but we ended up waiting 25 minutes just to get our first drinks. I ordered a Caesar salad which was mediocre & cost $15. I’ve then decided on the Parmesan truffle fries thinking they would be gourmet considering they were $16. Nope. 15 steak fries with Parmesan sprinkled over them … When I asked about the truffles they said that it was just truffle oil drizzled on…. If it was I tasted nothing. When I thought well it will probably have something good to dip them in…it was ketchup lol. Total bill including 20% tip was $400 for 5 ladies… three Didn’t drink alcohol

My husband and I have been dining here on a regular basis for several years. Typically, this our go to “date night” location. We always make reservations and enjoy being a little dressier for the occasion. The past few times we have dined there, keeping in mind that the reservation has been made a week in advance, we get seated at a terrible table. People walking in off the street in jean shorts and tank tops sitting at nicer tables. Last night, I was prepared for the same redundant issue. Naturally, it happened. The hostess took us to a table at the exit of the kitchen next to the service area. I said to her, “I didn’t make reservations and get dressed up to sit here.” She initially agreed, and then sat us in between 3 other couples. I could touch other people on both sides. Plenty of other tables available. Food and service are typically above average here, it has been steadily declining in recent months. Our waiter wasn’t even a waiter last night. (He was very nice) He was covering for someone else. For the obscene prices that they charge, they should be able to compensate with having enough staff. I am going to upload a photo of my $54 dinner. Grouper with lobster and gnocchi - maybe one speck of lobster. (Bland and cold). Time to find a new date spot for us. So disappointing

What an amazing restaurant! I was so excited to try this restaurant and we went for my husbands birthday. We loved our server Melissa because she was super attentive and walked us through the menu. It was super helpful that she brought out bread to appease my toddler and placed his order first. We loved the prime roll and tempura roll as starters. The black orchid and berry bubbly drink were both perfect cocktails to start with before wine with dinner. I like that they have steaks, chicken and chops but you gotta go for the fish. My husband loved the Chilean sea bass, my crab cakes were impeccable and the teriyaki salmon had the perfect char. I snuck a scallop from my father in law and could’ve had a couple more. It was such a good experience that we will definitely be back again again!

Columbus, Ohio, isn't recognized as one of the best restaurant cities in the United States, not like New York or Chicago or San Francisco or New Orleans or Charleston. But during our week-long visit, we certainly discovered some outstanding culinary venues. Like Mitchell's Ocean Club. Located at 4002 Easton Station, on the second level of Easton Town Center, off Easton Way, west of l-270, it is an elegant restaurant and lounge, an upscale supper club that focuses on seafood and prime steaks. It features a main dining room, lounge, three private dining rooms, an outdoor terrace, a piano bar and 50-plus wines by the glass. Open from 5 to 9 Monday through Thursday, 5 to 10 on Friday, 4 to 10 on Saturday and 4 to 9 on Sunday, Mitchell's Ocean Club is a stylish operation overseen by executive chef Mike Gilbert. For starters, my wife and I had jumbo shrimp cocktail, a bowl of lobster bisque and Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, parmesan, garlic dressing and brioche croutons. For entrees, we decided to adhere to our more fish/less meat dining philosophy. As soon as I saw Branzino on the menu, I was hooked. It is a light but meaty and delicious Mediterranean sea bass that I was introduced to in Florida a few years ago. Ever since, when I see it on a menu, which is rare, I know what I'm ordering. On this occasion, it came with artichokes, broccoli, lemon caper jus, celery root puree, twice baked potato, sauteed mushrooms, asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Wow. Meanwhile, my wife was pleased with one of her favorites, Florida grouper, with lobster, gnocchi, spring peas, lemon jus, creamy whipped potatoes and creamed spinach with bacon. Another wow. For dessert, we were delighted with two unique inventions, warm butter cake with berries, vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce and 10 layer carrot cake with cream cheese icing and pineapple syrup. Two more wows.

First off, the restaurant is set up very well for complying with social distancing. Our party felt totally safe while enjoying our dinner. As usual with a Cameron Mitchell restaurant, our meal was fantastic. Our party of 4 started with the chilled crab appetizer. If you like crab meat, I highly recommend this dish. Our main courses were the salmon, tuna & grouper plates. All were delicious. Finished evening with the 13 layer carrot cake which was out of this world. Our server, Chip (?) did a great job all night as our group never felt rushed during the course of the dinner. One of my favorite restaurants for a special occasion.

The atmosphere is definitely upscale. Not sure it is worth the price. The food was good, and the waiter tried, but when they delivered a well and then medium well filet, I was checked out. Medium is just not that hard. The "lite" dirty martini was on point along with the FO soup and Lobster Linguine. The desserts were the show stoppers. Warm butter cake and Peanut butter pie were so extra. We should have started there.

I took my beautiful wife to dinner to celebrate her retirement. We had a 6:15 reservation on a Thursday. The place is beautiful! There seem to be several different seating areas. (*) We were in I’d say the main area, seated in the back of a round wheel area. You could see the kitchen in several round porthole type windows. Unfortunately since it was just the two of us our “two top” table was jammed in between other tables. I rubbed shoulders with my neighbors to the right. The upside was I asked “what’s that?” They said “the ocean roll”, which I decide to order too. They were very nice people. Often waiters had to jam between us and the table next to us to serve them. That’s the only down side. Although that area was also very loud. Could use a lot of sound dampening. You might reserve a table for 3 to avoid this, but it would be wrong…  Our server, and everyone we talked to were *Excellent*! Attentive, fun to talk to, knew the menu inside and out. I had the lobster bisque. Fantastic as was the presentation. My Ocean Roll Sushi was definitely fresh, tasty and the wasabi had a definite KICK to it! Just how I like it! Da wife loved her Florida Grouper. Well cooked, fantastic sauce. The carrot cake was a good recommendation for dessert. Go! It’s expensive, but worth it!

Food is good but not great, especially for this price point. Oysters were very good as was the calamari. Steak was tough and a bit overdone. Lobster pasta dish was not very good. Wine list is extremely overpriced. Dinner won’t be bad but you are paying a huge premium over what you should be for this quality.

The food was really good and the staff was really good too, they worked the table like they should have. We had a party of nine celebrating 3 birthdays, including my own. Altogether, we spent around $1500 as a entire table. My problem with our experience was their water. I asked if they had any mineral water and was told they had tap water or their own fine water, so I ordered this “fine water”. Luckily I was the only one that asked for the fine water. When the water came out, it was in a nice glass bottle with a cooler holder for the bottle when it wasn't being poured. I took a taste of the water and right away it tasted terrible. The name on the was Vero Water. So I hopped online to to see more about this so-called fine water and I quickly became suspicious. Upon returning home, I looked into Vero Water and discovered this “fine water” is really just glorified tap water. Apparently, it is a system that is set up in the back of the restaurant that taps into water supply from the city of Columbus. This fine water, as it turns out, is simply enhanced RO filtered water, which isn’t and shouldn’t be considered “fine water”. This is a gimmick, a parlor trick, a quick way to turn a buck and deceive the public. It is surprising at the level of this restaurant that they would be selling such a subpar product while trying to market as something it is not, all while charging $7.00 per bottle of water that is enhanced tap water. Having been an Ocean Club fan and patron for many, many years, I was very disappointed that they would do something like this.

Drove to Columbus to celebrate several occasions, including my birthday. I always love a great seafood dinner. This was a special occasion, as we also celebrated our daughter's marriage to her partner (during COVID) isolation. Our party of 4 enjoyed oysters, the newlyweds were new to this concept, but enjoyed, mushroom ravioli, teriyaki salmon, florida grouper, and sea scallops with parmesan risotto, salads, wine, a real fish fest. Food was excellent, service was great. Bill was surprisingly high.

Everything was excellent as it should be for the price. It was a special occasion and they treated us well. We sat on the outside balcony overlooking Easton Town Center. It was cool out so they had clear plastic shades down and there were heaters available if needed. The atmosphere was lovely and the fish entrees delicious.
