I walked into Monica's one morning about 6 years ago looking for a coffee fix and it soon became my favourite cafe, the staff are delightful and always go out of their way to help out and cater to any requests. I even had my baby shower lunch there. The food is always fresh and their coffee is spot on and drinks refreshing.
During COVID restrictions they even introduced a delivery service and catered to those of us who lived further away than just Maleny township, which was a wonderful way to get delicious food and support local.
The owners and their staff are beautiful people and even during their most busy of times they have a friendly smile and wave for my children and I. My smallest son gets excited as we drive up the street headed towards the Cafe as he knows he is about to get his "coffeecino", cake or chippies.
Thank you Monica's staff for providing excellent service with a family friendly atmosphere, my family and I look forward to many more years of frequenting your establishment!

I'm sitting here finishing my lunch at this delightful, yet super busy cafe on a Sunday afternoon.
The staff were friendly and efficient. Our food came in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.
The beer battered chips are thick, crunchy and fluffy... just as they should be. My cappuccino was perfect and made properly with a third of the cup filled with dense creamy fluff, hmmmm.
It was their Covid protocols that impressed us. As we sat there as they were diligent, thorough and unobtrusive in ensuring this was a Covid safe cafe. I don't think I've seen better.
Congratulations to the team. We will be back.

Amazing food and coffee with great service. Great breakfast on offer within a very welcoming environment- food is always on point and the staff always go above and beyond with their service. Totally recommend Monica’s for breakfast and lunch with great coffee.

With the cafe appearing busy, we found that there were plenty of free tables upstairs. The lunchtime soups were ordered and arrived after a reasonable wait, as a couple who arrived and ordered well after us had their soup arrive immediately after our order arrived. We though our soups though pleasant enough, arrived warm and could have been a reasonably hotter on arrival at our table. Maybe it was the style of the soup.

We had brunch at Monica’s two out of the three days we were there (they are closed on Thursday). The food was great, the big breakfast was huge and all the ingredients were good quality and the coffee was great. The price was reasonable and we only needed one meal that day because we were so full. We will definitely be back again on our next time through Maleny!

We are always in the hunt for food made from local produce and we had a very enjoyable Eggs Benedict with bacon. Very good portion sizes with a well balanced latte to accompany our breakfast. Monica’s cafe offers good service, pleasant atmosphere and is very popular. Thanks for the experience.

Absolutely delicious breakfast in a buzzing little cafe. The staff were friendly, great choice on the menu, including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options, and food was clearly freshly cooked to order. We both chose the big breakfast which was delicious. Lots of people coming and going, including regular customers who were greeted by staff who had obviously got to know them.
I'd definitely return if I'm fortunate enough to visit Maleny again and would highly recommend.

We were so pleased to find this lovely little cafe in Maleny. After asking about gluten free options we were told that the manager is coeliac so not only do they provide gluten free options, they take cross contamination very seriously. They were able to provide a gluten free bacon and egg burger and fried the hash brown in a separate fry pan rather than the shared fryer. The area upstairs was lovely and provided a great atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

After a disappointing start to the day at another cafe in another town - we arrived in Maleny. Settled in at Monica's cafe - where the food was excellent - the tomato soup and the avocado /haloumi on toast were good quality and so tasty. Vegan options are available on many of the menu items. Service was efficient and friendly.

Coffee and cake were served quickly as I sat at the window bench doing a little work on the iPad. Outside undercover tables were full despite rain.
Service was delightful: caring respectful staff, who were keen to look after you but happy to leave you alone if you needed a quiet 30 minutes.
Coffee was terrific, thanks. I’ll be back.

I visited this cafe today with my Mother and two children, the staff were so rude and patronising. The food arrived and was luke warm, when I pointed this out to the waitress she just shrugged and said 'Well we are busy!", turned around and walked down the stairs. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had in a cafe.I suggest people give this cafe a wide berth, I will not be returning!
They were also EXTREMELY RUDE to the customer in front of me who left very disgruntled. I can't see this cafe surviving much longer with the staff and management they have. In this climate they shouldn't be treating people like an inconvenience. If you don't want to treat customers nicely and fairly and have them return, just don't open!

I continued my crusade to find the best BLT in the world. Monicas version was note-worthy – nice crunchy roll, some chunky chips, tasty bacon but the serving was a bit unwieldy with a very generous serve of tomato, much too much lettuce (2 cms thick) and not enough bacon. In summary it needs more B, much less L and a little less T.

As vegans,we were very happy with a vegan burger, and the verde salad plate. Everything was very very fresh and tasty. Generous portions, with fruit smoothie drinks. Good prices, and would definitely come back again. Thank you

My husband & I had a baby free brunch on a busy Saturday. We were lucky enough to get a spare table. The coffees were lovely and the food was just as nice. The staff were all very polite - even though they were run off their feet they still took the time to ask how our day was. Cannot fault a single thing. We will be back for sure!!

Monica’s is my go to in Maleny for all day breakfast and delicious lunches. Consistently great service and food. I’ve never had a meal I didn’t like and I’ve had just about everything on the menu including their creative specials. The ingredients are always fresh and everything is made with love 💕 thanks team Monica’s for all your hard work!
