We enjoyed the quesadilla and enchillada verde. Nothing fantastic but relatively cheap for the area (not as cheap as the Pueblo though). Pico was great, first one with some actual heat to it!

No frills lunch counter next to the market in Akumal, lots of options on the menu. They have counter seating and a few small tables. No alcohol for sale, but you can walk next door to the market to buy beer and bring it back...More

If you are looking for an authentic place to eat and you don't want to spend a lot of money, then go to Loncheria Akumalito! We loved it :) There are some options for vegetarians. Very simple but also very Mexican food.

If you are going for atmosphere, dont go here. It is some stools pulled up to a bar counter. If you want delicious inexpensive food, this is the place to go. It closes at 7pm, so be aware that you cant eat a late dinner...More

The quesadillas and enchiladas verdes here were fantastic. Also the melon water was so good. A small unassuming counter with also a couple tables. Great for dinner on our way back from Yal Ku lagoon.
