I searched online for Italian restaurant near me as we were in Sechelt for lunch.
We easily found the Old Boot Eatery and were pleased to find lots of onsite parking.
We had a most delicious lunch of soup, meatball bruschetta and meatballs and linguini. The food was so good. Highly recommend.
We also ordered dinner to go.
I noticed lots of people coming in to pick up takeout meals, frozen entrees and sauces and condiments.
Support this local shop. You won’t be disappointed

We visited on Feb. 2/23 and the waitress said that they only just recently opened after Covid! They have a nice food market as you enter with great looking ready-made dishes to take home. We ordered a pizza, a beer and a wine and waited in the bar/cafe area. Very cosy with booths on the wall and tables at the window. Our server was very sweet and we didn't have to wait long for the pizza.

From the moment you step in the front door of the Old Booth, the aroma of fresh made pasta sauces fills the air and sets you up for the meal that will follow. For basics you can't go wrong with their spaghetti and fabulous home made meatballs and add a link of Italian sausage. For spicy, you can't go wrong with the Cajun Seafood Rose with shrimp, clams and tiger prawns. As an alternative, the West Coast linguini with tiger prawns, As a starter, there is a very good house salad - be sure to ask for extra dressing - it is light yet filled with flavour. If you love meat and pasta you can't go wrong with the bar-b-cued back ribs and linguini - it is a large order so come hungry or share the dinner and a salad. Check ahead to see what nights there is music playing if you enjoy dining and spending some time listening to live entertainment. We have been eating at the Old Boot for years and have never had a bad meal. In the summer reservations can be a really good idea. If there is just two of you, a meal in the smaller bar area can be a nice alternative to the main dining section and the larger booths and tables. If your travel schedule does not permit an evening meal their lunches are also excellent. It is on Wharf Street which runs through Sechelt, with on street parking and restaurant parking at the side.

Was looking round Sechelt looking for somewhere to eat and came across this restaurant. We were lucky that there was a table available, the locals obviously eat here which is a good sign. The service was good even though they were busy and the portions were large. Unfortunately the restaurant was only open on one of the nights we were in Sechelt otherwise we would have returned.

Nice location to sit in, not much to see out the windows.

There is certainly an atmosphere - it is fairly dark, lots of natural wood and a variety of bizarre artefacts. The staff are really lovely, friendly, welcoming and efficient. Very broad menu of typical eatery food with a definite Italian emphasis. The quantity of food is colossal; the quality only mediocre but it's eatable and the place is fun rather than fine dining.

The Old Boot has been around a long time and is still seems popular, but the Caesar salad and spaghetti with meatballs we had were very mediocre. Won't be going back.

We were here for supper, and the service was really good. The menu has lots of options, and our meals were very tasty! We sat outside, and it was very pleasant and peaceful.

I didn’t have high expectations of the pizza and these expectations were met. The dough was slightly under done. Also, I love cheese but I have never seen so much cheese on a single pizza, and I got a barbecue chicken pizza. When I put the box on the dining room table it made a thump noise from the obscene amount of dough and cheese. Maybe just stay away from the pizza, maybe try the lasagna or something. Or maybe just go somewhere else.
