Three of us were the first guests on the newly built socially distancing deck. Our waitress, Prabh, was professional, attentive , and friendly. We were surprised how fast the meal was served. The food was some of the best Indian food we had ever eaten. My husband managed to eat all of his lamb vindaloo. My friend and I took half of our lamb korma home. I didn't want rice, so the chef put vegetables that were tender crisp in mine. We will definitely be back.

Ordering take-out from Saffron during Covid-19 social distancing was easy and efficient. The Achari fish, made with locally farmed Sturgeon, was moist and delicious. I'm so grateful this restaurant is still offering beautifully cooked food during these difficult times.

This place features some delicious Indian cuisine, but also very good and unique pizzas and pastas. We had dinner here for 3 nights during our week long stay in the area. The butter chicken, chana masala and chili chicken are large portions and quite flavorful, best butter chicken we have ever had! The tzatziki pizza was interesting, as well as the pasta dishes. Very friendly service (takeout and delivery). If you’re looking for a menu with a large selection, this is your place!

My wife's achari fish bowl was everything it should be: generous portions of cod cooked with seeds and spices and drizzled in a lime dressing - truly delicious and excellent value for money.
My meal? Not so much. Pre-cooked chicken that had clearly been drizzled in hot sauce, and then a ladle of coconut sauce out of a jar, served with a pot of dry microwaved rice and a soggy microwaved naan - the only nod to cuisine being some cilantro tossed over the top.
The family that run this place seem to be genuinely nice, and my wife's meal demonstrates that at least one of them can cook. If I ever go there again, I'll order pizza

The Indian food here is very tasty however the service is greatly lacking. The employee seemed spaced out and distracted. I had to ask for a glass of water twice then ended up getting it myself. She didn't seem to be able to juggle more than one thing at a time. For this reason, the meal took a long time to get to us and then ended up not being what we ordered. Once the correct order arrived it was delicious! Beware.

The place was really comfortable. I ordered chilli chicken. The server came back and confirmed, "did you want chicken or paneer". I said "chicken". It came out with paneer. She didn't come to check on me until I was almost done so I didn't send it back. It still tasted good but it wasn't what I ordered. I would say the value was adequate.

Disappointing meal. The daal was bland, coconut shrimp curry really lacked flavor & almost watery, the paneer with “ butter chicken” like sauce overly sweet. I wanted to be a fan & support this local buisness but I likely wont return. And I love indian food. Visiting friends last mth had similiar experience, I was hoping it was just an “ off night” or what they ordered. Had pizza before & it was ok but expensive & a bit greasy.

Love this spot. Came here a year ago and had the chicken korma, and have been thinking about it all year. Had the lamb korma today and it was amazing.

OMGoodness!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!! My 90yo mother & I just had lunch at the Saffron today (she ordered Masala Prawn Bowl; I had the Achari Fish Bowl). Mom doesn't eat much these days but she polished off her entire bowl plus some Naan bread! I thought I had died & gone to heaven with the taste of the Achari Fish Bowl!!!!! I did bring some leftover home. We were seated in a private booth, very comfortable & service was lovely! If you like East Indian food, please support this restaurant. Lunch was not cheap, but the amount in the bowl was ample & the taste sublime!!!!!!!!!

Yummy food, small portions, which makes it feel a bit pricey.
The interior is nice, clean and typical, the view is of a mall parking lot.
The service is polite and friendly.

We arrived at our accommodation later in the evening at Sechelt. Read some reviews and decided on Saffron for a pizza delivery. We were not disappointed. The pizza arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. Ceertificate of Excellence well deserved!
