Lovely to sit outside enjoying the view until it became too cold and we moved inside. Our mains order was forgotten so we waited for an hour. Staff were very apologetic and we were given our dessert for free, which was much appreciated.

Right on the seafront in an elevated position, they serve Portugese style seafood and its good, Staff were attentive and friendly to both the locals, and visitors like myself, despite lots of the diners being regulars it made no difference.

We were pleasantly surprised when we dined at Hortas. Like most we went for the view, however, the real value came when our food arrived. Their seafood was fresh, and the lamb was cooked to perfection! If you're looking for a dining experience that you...More

Dropped in for an afternoon meal, ended up only having a drink (to be polite!) because everything on the menu was too expensive for what it was. The drinks were expensive too. The view is fabulous, but you definitely pay for it and can get...More
