Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My family stopped here for lunch before visiting Old Fort Niagara. It is a nice, clean little place tucked along Main St. with views of the water out the back of the dining room. My son, who is a picky eater, LOVED the spaghetti and meatball on the Children's Menu. Our server was kind enough to accommodate his request for the meatball to be in a separate dish, not touching the spaghetti. I had the Beef on Weck sandwich. I'd never heard of "weck" but it was really good. I also had a side salad with the house dressing which was also tasty.

After visiting old Fort Niagara Park we stopped here for lunch and had a great lunch. The food was excellent, the prices were great, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The soups were excellent the sandwiches were flavorful and large and my dad really enjoyed his mandarin chicken salad. Great Roast Beef on Weck!!

We stopped at this diner because it has great reviews and we're glad we did! It's a very good diner with excellent food and service. We ordered 4 burgers with bacon and cheese (1/2 pound meat). We all loved them, great size and taste. The side macaroni salad is very good and the fries too (could be more fries). I definitely recommend this diner!

Fantastic HADDOCK fish fry!! Eat in and to go. Choice of battered, breaded, or baked. I rec the battered, excellent batter, size of fish, delicious! Choice of fries or baked potato. Slaw. Their soups are fantastic and taste homemade, I LOVE the Kickin Chicken Corn Chowder, so creamy. Excellent staff, no attitudes, always pleasant and helpful. Clean eating area, view of the lower Niagara river. Eat at the counter or tables. Not a bar but they do serve alcohol. And the Fish is not just served on Fridays, it is Wed Thurs Friday. M-F they are open until 2pm so hurry in and get your meal!

Took the family here after our visit to Fort Niagara. The waitress who seated and waited on us was very friendly and helpful. The place had a very friendly local vibe. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. My son who can be picky loved the meatball sandwich. Highly recommended!

Our family stopped for brunch on a Saturday, before our visit to Old Fort Niagara. We loved this diner! The servers were friendly and efficient. The food was hot and delicious. We were all satisfied, and pleased with our brunch.
When we travel to this lovely area again, we will dine here for sure!

Great stop! We were lucky enough to be here on a Tuesday and had the specials- eggplant and chicken parm with spaghetti. Both were delicious and left us enough for dinner! Soo good!

We were around the area at an AIRBNB for the weekend and decided upon referral to try this little diner on our way home.
The place is super cute, well maintained, the servers were all friendly and it has a great water view
The plates are a good amount of food and the prices are very very reasonable. My sister in law had the pancakes with bacon, my husband had the breakfast combo and I had the breakfast sandwich and everything was awesome, but as they always say you get the best food at the small town diners. So for 3 of us for breakfast and drinks our bill was less than $30 that's a steal in this current economy, we would eat here every weekend if we lived in this area, it was a really cute little town.
I highly recommend if you are in the area. I'm sure the lunches are just as good but it was a Sunday and they are only open till 1:30 so it was a breakfast menu only.

Friendly service, good selection, quality food. Don't miss the "Kicken Chicken Soup," a rich chicken corn chowder with a nice measure of heat to provide the kick. Generous portions and fresh ingredients make the Youngstown Village Diner a reliable crowd pleaser.

To find a place to eat lunch, we cruised Main Street of this lovely town with a view of the mouth of the Niagra River. We decided to try Village Diner and we had discovered a winner. The dining room looks out over the Niagra River as it flows into Lake Ontario and to the Canadian shore across the way.
Our waitress, Danielle, was cheerful and helpful in descibing the various offerings.
I ordered a BLT and a cup of vegetable beef soup. Both were delicious. The coffee was good.
My partner ordered the eggplant parmesan and was delighted with it.
This is a delightful contrast to all the commercial bluster of Niagra Falls.

On our way to Fort Niagara, we stopped here for breakfast. We knew it would be good by the number of locals eating there. We were not disappointed. It was so good. I had French toast which was great and bacon just to my liking...crisp. My hubby has bacon, eggs..over easy, bacon and potatoes. Everything was perfect. Coffee cup was always full. Delightful little Cafe.

Stopped for Sunday breakfast after a soccer game at Fort Niagara. The dining room toward the back has a nice view of the river. Our server was not the most attentive, but pleasant enough. The breakfast was good. There seemed to be a lot of “regulars” which tells me that people keep coming back. We would return if in the area again.
