To say my meal was bad would be an under statement!!! German Restaurant 🤣🤣🤣 The schnitzel was soggy in some old oil the brown gravey was water!!! Everything was under seasoned!!' And t charge 14 for 2 potatoe pancakes that were so soggy they were in eatable!!! The Chef probably drank a Hienkien for his German cooking class🤪 The ORIGINAL OWNERS SOLD AND THIS IS NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR 💰💰💰

Food is good, decent quantity. Ordered ice tea, got ice coffee with lemon. Surprised it wasn't crowded as it has plenty of outdoor seating and was far from cold. If friends told me to meet up there again, I would say okay but wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. Partially due to where I live rather than the food in the restaurant.

Food is good as is the service. $10 for a pretzel that costs no more than .35 cents to make is a bit much. At $3 everyone would be happy. I love pretzels and this is no better than I can make at home.

It's a fun spot for a drink and a nice meal. I like to take my grandma for the specials. Pretzels are to die for

Thus was my 3rd visit to Jagerhaus. I’ve had the pleasure of dining outside on the open-air patio, inside the glassed-in garden room, & the handsome interior dining room. The food and draught beers are spot on. I’ve tried something different each time. This last lunch was kielbasa with red cabbage & sauerkraut. Another traditional & winning combination. Portions are ample and the service was prompt & attentive. Queens has good German-style food in Maspeth. It’s great to have this restaurant in the northern part of the borough.

My husband and I went here while visiting New York for Easter. It has a fun, lively vibe and looked like many regular locals were there. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. They had a good selection of German beers, served in liter or part liter glasses. They have an outdoor beer garden with tables with umbrellas which looked very nice, but it was raining when we went. There is street parking, not metered and safe.

Had dinner Saturday night at Jagerhaus for the first time. Service was great and the food was even better. Must get is the pretzel appetizer. All the German beers you can choose from. They even have an outdoor patio when the weather is nice. Must go place.

Went today for lunch with my daughter to this German restaurant, which had an ad on Clipper Magazine. We had been once at a German restaurant in Middle Village more than 10 years ago. Not impressed in that time, so we decided to give it a try this one in Whitestone. Unfortunately, this time was worse, I mean the quality of food. We both ordered schnitzel, my daughter with pork, myself with chicken. Mine was supposed to have portobello mushrooms and sauce with red wine. Actually, mine was served with green beans, roasted potatoes and mushroom sauce. The sauce was not made with portobello; the portobello usually, is grilled, this one was in small pieces, which by taste was not portobello at all. The potatoes were not roasted properly, were half-raw. My daughter also didn't like her pork schnitzel and left 1/3 of her portion. The potato chips she had were some untasty ones from half-prepared supermarket product fried in their kitchen. So, excluding the nice interior of the dining rooms, which were good, and the very good beers, the total experience was disappointing. Even though we had a coupon for $10 discount for the bill over $50, we won't come back.

Very nice dining experience overall. Servers were all very friendly and helpful with beer suggestions. Highly recommend the deviled eggs and Hungarian goulash. We were dissatisfied with the potato pancakes, but they weren’t terrible. A big complaint for us was that we could smell cigarette smoke from people outside in the beer garden. Don’t know if it’s allowed out there but we definitely smelled it, and that’s a big turnoff when you’re eating.

The food is okay. The waitress was not very attentive and it was not crowded. The potato pancakes were terrible. My goulash was good and my mom said the sauerbraten was okay. The meat was not thinly sliced it was chucks. There have no alcohol- no apricot sour or jagermeister - only wine and beer. Back to Manor Oktoberfest for us.
