This 'French' style restaurant serves reasonably authentic & traditional French cooking with an NZ twist in a very quaint & pleasant setting. However the service is very slow, even by French gastronomic cooking standards & the prices are up there with top end Auckland restaurants. Limited choice with 2 meat, 1 fish & 1 veg main courses to choose from.... More

What a find! Small boutique French Cruisine,in a small side street in Whitianga.Loved the enthusiastic owners 12 year old so who brought us our water,Beautiful Tuna pate and Rolls all part of the Two course meal . We travel the world extensively and we would have to say this is one of the best restaurants we have ever dined in. The food is even better than what we have had in Michelin Star Restaurants overseas and at a fraction of the price. We also enjoyed a bottle of fine tasting French Wine. My wife loved the food... This is a small family run French restaurant in beautiful Whitianga that rivals some of the best restaurants we have ever experienced and for a fraction of the price! Menu is not extensive but the food is just amazing! The home made chewy macaroon filled with goats cheese was divine! Can't recommend this lovely friendly little gem enough. We don't... More

Fabulous food and absolutely well presented and enjoyed. Wine selection to accompany foods very good, excellent wine suggestions from the staff. The tastes for each course are very distinguishable, deserts to die for

It was not the landladies beach-dress, not even the ant on our 30-$-cheeseplate that shoked us ... but the fact, that three minors (one in the kitchen and two in the service) had been hired to serve dinner in the restaurant...an absolute NON-GO! The food though, was very nice.

Two of them are our children (12 and 14) We are a family business in case you did not notice it,maybe you were to focused on my wife outfit... The third one is an over 18 employee so where did you get... More

The food was very tasty and presented artistically but...if you are very hungry, it is not the place to go. Portions were definitely too small for our liking.
