Went for breakfast with my wife, my wife ordered at the counter and when my breakfast arrived my eggs were fried not scrambled as my wife asked for to which the very miserable lady replied that's what she asked for but that's funny we have...been married for 20 years and I've never eaten fried eggs. The lady took them away and returned with scrambled eggs and then tells me I will need to pay for the fried eggs that I did not order! I really couldn't believe the customer service very poor.More

Visited on a Saturday morning, we were staying nearby and decided to buy some eggs and sourdough to self cater for breakfast, I bought what I needed and then found something else the lady who was serving huffed and puffed when I asked her to...come back so I could pay. Returned later early in the evening and there was no one to be seen, we walked around, called out and no one appeared? Someone was sitting on a balcony on the phone though and just ignored us.. very strange? So we left and went to Whitianga for dinnerMore

A must visit when you're in the area. Great local restaurant with delicious tasty food. Came here for a coffee on my first day around. Coffee and orange almond slice was beautiful. Visited for dinner. Sea food platter as entree was beautiful. Main fish of...the day (can't remember name of the fish) with a risotto cake was delicious. Finished off with a traditional rhubarb crumble with a generous portion of vanilla ice cream. It was all delicious. Nice staff. Cozy atmosphere and good music in the background. Will definitely come back if I'm visiting again.More

My husband has the scallops in a corn fritter and...I wish I’d have had it. So tasty and fresh from sea to table. Everything home grown and locally sourced Highly recommend a visit might try the breakfast next 👏🏼👏🏼More

This little cafe doesn’t look like much but when you see the pie warmer and cabinet plus the menu you’ll be in for a treat. We went here for breakfast and dinner (make a booking) and happily enjoyed our meals. Worth the money
