Just another bar, beer cost on the high side, staff were O.K, could have been better at clearing tables, table we sat at still had glasses from previous customers, complete with flies crawling on and in them. Staff member walked pass numerous times without taking...them away. So just average.More

This place is amazing. Stuff were lovely. We went in nearly every night of our stay at the campsite because of the great staff. Wine tasting was very yummy. Would 100% recommend. Even when it was busy we didn’t wait for our pizzas long.

Paid $36 for 2 extremely small portions of nachos!!! We thought they were taking the p*ss when it first came out but no. Tried a couple of their beers too but at $9 each they were exceptionally average at best. One was flat with no...life in it at all. Very poor value for money and clearly targeting the richer Auckland market as opposed to the typical hard working kiwi family. Would give this place a wide berth if I were you unless you like being ripped off of course!More

This is a fine example of a small NZ brewery near a popular tourist hotspot. The range of beer is extraordinary and the ones we tried were excellent. The barman went out of way to make us welcome, with entertaining banter and tastings. the Marguerite...pizza and cheesy mussels were hot, fresh and tasty.More

My friend and I decided to go for lunch, very strange the whole place needs refining!. The pizza menu had one pizza to pick from and just add your toppings, much better if they had 5 or 6 nice pizza's to pick from, fries came...in a breakfast bowl, sauce came in the bowl with the chips, normally served on the side in a separate bowl. I asked the girl at the counter what beer she would recommend, she replied with "not sure I don't drink beer" . Outdoor area dated and tired, not inviting, no umbrellas, a great shame as it has so much potential, unfortunately would not return after that. The man who gave us a liqueur tasting was nice and humorous.More

Amazing local beer and more. Friendly and welcoming host with poetic and comedic storytelling behind the history of the delectable delights awaiting to be imbibed. Stop in for delicious drinks, food, and maybe a board game.

We stopped here for a beer tasting and came away with a cool experience of tasting beer and other locally made produce. Make sure you get the mistbif it and take a sober driver. The guy who did the liquors, gin, etc tasting was entertaining....Ih yes, the beer was good too. I even bought a souvenir glass.More
