We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Yarri, the food was pretty amazing. Our waitperson was warm, friendly & very attentive. We booked online where they take a deposit of $10pp, that's a bit cheeky, though it is deducted from your bill. It was quite busy for a Tuesday night when we arrived so would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. A 3 course set menu was on offer, with a choice of main only (sword fish & pork neck on the night we visited), at what we thought a reasonable price of $68pp. Every course was delicious, could not fault it & the chosen wine of a chardonnay from Snake & Herring was good. We would book again & would highly recommend to anyone when visiting the Dunsborough region.

Group of seven for dinner. Only a set menu option which may not please everyone, however, the food was really good - the main course steak sublime !!! Negatives were the dessert - which whilst very nice was basically a glorified sponge cake with strawberry sauce - and the matching wine option; whilst the wines were well matched, the waiter made sure only a single bottle on each course was spread across the entire party (with some left over to spare on two courses). All up would have been lucky to have a full glass of wine each over three courses. Given the price per head for this add on, a much better option to buy the bottles a la carte of the menu, This was the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. That said , will definitely be backed (armed with this knowledge) for the food

Finally had the pleasure of visiting Yarri after hearing so many good things. We were not disappointed , from the welcome, and exceptional service from the lovely Deb, to the amazing food we sampled, My Hubby & I really enjoy sharing food, and Yarri menu lends itself very well to this concept, we shared marinated olives and The duck Eclair (OMG This was light as a feather and absolutely delicious) For Main we shared the sirloin and duck fat potatoes, which was beautifully cooked, and we finished with a very light caramel dessert. We had a great experience and look forward to another future visit.

Such a pleasure to have good service along with delicious, well-cooked food. What was really noticeable though was how all the staff seem to enjoy working there, with a lot of smiles and banter amongst the staff, from the chefs to the waitstaff. Thank you for a very pleasant evening with friends who have not visited Dunsborough before and well done Team Yarri!

We dined at Yarri on a very busy night but had high expectations. The food was generally good - there’s very little choice in what you eat so if you don’t like something you would be restricted. Service was more suited to a diner. The kitchen lost our order somewhere between entree and mains and we waited over 30 mins for some scallops to come out. Despite us sitting with an empty table, no one noticed until we asked where our food was (when we eventually managed to get someone’s attention). No one apologised. Poor experience.

A lovely venue but unfortunately the dinner didn’t impress tonight A 3 course set menu with little choice. My lamb rump was a skinny piece of pure fat and sinew which I returned . Just the luck of the draw . Drinks were good . Small entree and nice desert. However the lady who took payment said I’m sorry you hated the meal so much . Very rude attitude. We won’t go back .

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere even if the area outside is kind of boring. We ate a two course menu and it was very good, modern tastings and with beautiful presentations. The restaurant has its own vineyard and the waitresses gave us the opportunity to try different ones before we made our choice. We also like that you are able to look in to the kitchen.

A really nice meal. Set menu with two main choices but they do a veg option if you ask. Servings are not large but it is just enough with the three courses. And the tastes are superb. Staff are really helpful We were put at the bar looking over the chefs cooking as we made a late booking but that added to the experience. The chefs talked with you and you were able to watch the dishes come together. Each dish when served was also explained. Great experience.

We booked in for dinner before realising it was a set menu so rang to ask if minor changes could be made to accommodate dietary requirements and they were very helpful. The serves weren’t overly large but outstanding in their taste and presentation and the waitress explained what the ingredients of each dish were. Very friendly staff and an excellent meal.

We have heard so much about this restaurant and recently went there full of excitement. The food is innovative and menu full of interesting options. Maybe because of our high epectations we left feeling disappointed. We had a misunderstanding over the price of our BYO wine and misunderstandings never help. Anyhow, the food is very good and it is definately well worth a visit as it is part of the food revolution in the Geograph region.

The food, wine & cocktails were 11/10. And the service rated the same, it was busy and our only option was sitting at the counter in front of the chef's preparing meals... It was like going to a show.... and added to the whole experience. When in the Margaret River, this place is a must....

This bar - restaurant has a cosy feeling with indoor and outdoor tables and high seats. The once cutting edge small dishes such as duck mousse in choux pastry and slithers of kingfish with avocado and raspberry are a bit dated but tasty. The raspberry was not fresh. The duck fat potatoes were very good indeed. Worth going back for! A number of local wines, beers and distilleries are represented. Pricing is for the BMW rather than Suzuki suv crowd.

We had a fabulously tasty meal here and the service was friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend the burnt pumpkin and the cabbage was the tastiest I’ve ever had! We had the steak which was cooked to perfection and the duck fat spuds were superb. Will definitely be going back!!!

Had 6 courses for under $80 and rivals any fine dining restaurant in Perth (we still love you Nobu and Wildflower). A table over looking the kitchen allowed us to chat to the very friendly and highly skilled chefs. They were happy to answer our questions about how the dishes were prepared and sourced. The dishes were bursting with umami flavours and were skilfully curated with locally sourced ingredients paired with exceptional local wine. This is seriously good nosh. Also when you see local boutique wine makers dining at a table nearby you know it’s a good sign.

The 3 course menu @ $74 pp was both limited and very poor value for money. Essentially our main course was a shared (2 person) sirloin steak with only a garlic butter condiment. No vegetables with it - that's an added expense for each individual extra (again limited) ... so our $74 pp blew out immediately, not to mention the inflated wine prices that are nearly twice their direct retail prices ... (Snake + Herring are co-founders of this venue) I will say the staff and atmosphere was lovely, the food was well cooked but in typical French nouveau style - a very small meal served beautifully on an oversized plate. If you do enjoy this style food then won't be disappointed, but it's one of the most expensive places we've ever eaten at in the area BUT by no means the best!

Hi Steve, it is great to read that the service and atmosphere of your experience with us was top shelf and the food well cooked. We are very sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your decision of the shared 650g sirloin, rather than the individual mains options. We are very grateful for any feedback that customers have and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Thanks.
