I've ordered from China Cafe a couple of times now and thought it was time to submit my accolades. One of the only Chinese restaurants left in downtown Syracuse since COVID took my favorite - Bamboo House. Well, China Cafe has not disappointed! Both times...were for lunch, ordering their lunch combo which includes soup or eggroll. Last of the good deals for lunch at $7.45-$7.75 for lunch! You get a lot of food in the combo especially for this price. The hot and sour soup is very good with lots of fresh vegetables and tofu - and with a nice spicy kick which is what it is supposed to have. Love it! The curry chicken (first visit) and chicken w/ garlic sauce were both excellent and very tasty. Vegetables, like the soup were plentiful and seemed fresh - not brown or wilted with a slight crunchiness (el dente) The garlic sauce was a bit different than others I've had but boy was it good. I'm very impressed with this little gem in downtown Syracuse. Will be my go to for lunch out. They only do takeout as of right now. Very friendly staff that I have dealt with and seem to always want to please and make sure your order is correct. Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.More

Great take-out Chinese food. Sesame chicken was delicious. Spring rolls are great for only $2. Sweat & sour chicken, pot stickers, crab Rangoons were fantastic. Very efficient and friendly staff. Great Covid protocol. Highly recommend. Will order from them again soon.

This place was very close to Residence Inn where I stayed. Reasonable prices, friendly people ,uncrowded ( actually few people),good size portions. Had combo dinner , and next day combo lunch.
