I was so shocked to see any negative reviews regarding social distancing during COVID times at Harveys. I went today for my annual Saratoga trip and had, yet again, an amazing experience.
I was so nervous about going out to eat during a pandemic but I just couldn’t pass up the smoked wings (omg my favorite thing ever). I was amazed at how strict the staff was about the mask policy. I was extremely happy to see this actually being enforced because so many other bars in the area were not enforcing this or the social distancing policy. Bravo to Harvey’s to keeping the food delicious and patrons feel SAFE. Tables were all spaced at least 6’ apart, if you weren’t at your table you were required to wear your mask (the right way), and they limited party size. I will be going back for dinner because a business who cares about the people is one who deserves my money.
I think tonight I will get the Mac and cheese. It’s so creamy and delicious!

We were here during the pandemic. I think maybe the menu has been shortened because of the covid-19 but that's ok. Service was very good, Liam was pleasant and accommodating. Food was pretty good, nothing special. Shepherd's pie tasty, reuben good. I thought the meals and drinks were a little over-priced; $18 for a burger, $18 for shepherd's pie. Beers were $7.
We did like the fact that there was no blaring music and one could converse with one's partner. Rooftop area shady and comfortable.

Can’t recommend Harvey’s highly enough. We come as often as possible for dinner, bar service and special events. The food is amazing (try the Irish gold wings!) and the owner is super nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating and are amazing with accommodating large parties for rehearsal dinners and reunions! Highly recommend a visit anytime you are in Saratoga.

We recently had our wedding this summer in Saratoga, and chose to have our after-party at Harvey's for our guests. Everything couldn't have gone any smoother, Matt and the team at Harvey's handled everything so seamlessly! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and the late night food was a big hit for everyone. We even were able to rent out space at Harvey's for the next day since most of our guests were from out of town, and again it was a huge success. I highly recommend renting out Harvey's for anybody looking to host private events, as the food, drinks, space, and service are all top notch!

Had a Holiday Work Dinner at Harvey’s in one of their gorgeous private rooms. My staff absolutely loved it, calling it the best holiday dinner they’ve ever had! The food and drinks were phenomenal and the wait staff went above and beyond making sure we were 100% satisfied throughout the entire time we were there. A lot of my staff were first timers and they can’t wait to go back and bring their loved ones! I myself have been to Harvey’s many times throughout the years, and their food has always been prepared beautifully and tasted amazing! Harvey’s is a place where it’s always been consistently great. Highly recommend Harvey’s for events or even just to go out for a quick bite. The ambiance of this restaurant is incredible all around! Thanks Harvey’s of Saratoga!

Great location for a celebration with family and friends! We threw a surprise party on Harvey's rooftop and we could not have chosen a more perfect spot. Open bar pricing was reasonable, food was great and service was attentive. Thank you to Adam and Matt for working with me to make sure everything was perfect! 100% recommend to anyone looking to host an event or even stop in for casual food/drink.

Went yesterday for dinner with my fiancé. She was very nervous about going out in downtown because so many places don’t enforce social distancing. We were blown away by their compliance with regulations. Some patrons were getting upset and riled up because employees were telling them they had to wear their masks properly... over their mouth AND nose, but this made us feel so comfortable. It’s a pandemic, why would you be upset by this?!
The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and everyone was safe. While all of the tables were situated 6 feet apart, when we asked to be put in a more secluded area they complied without any hesitation.
A delicious meal as always. This time I ordered the Irish nachos and steak tacos. I highly recommend both.

We were quickly seated outside since it was a beautiful day. Our waitress was excellent with advice on various dishes and service. The shepherd’s pie was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The boneless wings were simply delicious. Their sauce was sweet and sour but delicious. Finally, the lamb burger was absolutely perfect. It was seasoned, cooked and complemented well the red onion and pickles. Our waitress helped us finish our meal with a great dessert recommendation. Simply one of finest meals.

Just had a private party upstairs at Harvey's (the rafters) for a 50th birthday. It was perfect! We had about 35 guests, picked some pub style platters, and had the bar available to us! The food was great, the bartender Carissa was awesome, and it ended up being a perfect party! They have many food and bar packages to choose from - I highly recommend (especially off-season when the prices are lower)!

In town for the Belmont weekend (we have a apartment on Broadway for business) and after reading the positive reviews we decided to try Harvey’s on a Saturday evening. It was the night of the Belmont Derby so one might think any restaurant would have their “A” crew working. Sadly this was not our experience at all. The server was less than personable, he appeared to just want to get through his shift, even though the place wasn’t as crowded as one might think (this was just prior to post time). When our drinks arrived incorrectly it served as a harbinger of what was ahead…the food arrived and was just not good at all-when four out of five diners leave 90% of their meals untouched one might ask if there was a problem, but no, no inquiry at all.
An off day for both the kitchen and the waitstaff? Perhaps, but the wrong day to try to make an impression. We won’t be back.

Good morning. I apologize for the delay in a response to your review.
Normally I would walk through our steps of service, and go on to explain where things went wrong. In this regard, it seems that somewhere along the line we dropped the ball. A point of pride I have in this restaurant, is that we only have an "A" team. Our staff is the best I have worked with in my two decades of working in the hospitality industry. And to hear that the service you received was anything less- is disheartening to say the least.
As you mentioned in your review- our reviews ARE positive. The vast majority of them in fact. If your drinks came out wrong, that is an issue that needed to be rectified immediately. Our staff is trained to check back within two minutes to make sure that your food came out correctly, and if it is anything less than exactly what you wanted to satiate your palate- to also be rectified immediately.
I am profoundly sorry that your experience was anything less than stellar. And while I can only assume that your visits to Saratoga are infrequent- the fact that your time was invested in us- and we were unable to make it worth your while is something I can only apologize for.
Should you wish to give us another shot, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity. If not- thank you for highlighting the missteps on our end. All reviews, be they positive or negative are appreciated.

My husband and I just finished lunch at the Adelphi. We walked down to Harvey's to meet another couple for drinks on the rooftop. We were wearing our masks as we walked in, there was a very nice hostess and about 5 people sitting at the bar. I walked 3/4 of the way down the bar and lowered by mask down one ear lobe as I was going towards the ladies room. I heard someone yell, "Put your masks back on or turn around and get out!" I put my mask back on correctly, turned around to find the bartender looking at me. I was pretty shocked at the way he yelled at me and asked if he was being serious. He said yes and if I didn't like it, get out. So we got out, called our friends and told them to meet us at Bailey's. But I could hear that bartender complaining about me out the door. My husband and I are 67 years old, respect the mask regulations, respect restaurant workers, but this guy was a jerk.

We were going over to a concert at the UPH and coming from Vermont we wanted to try a restaurant close to the hall. Saw Harvey's online, parked close and tried it out. Was chowder fest day so all of town was busy. Were greeted and seated right away. Very friendly waitstaff. Nice simple menu. I had the pretzel plate and a Guinness and we shared sweet potato fries. Both excellent and maybe the best I've ever had. My wife had the cesar salad which also was excellent. Great service, Great food and will go back.

The owners and the waitstaff of Harvey’s are so accommodating, kind, professional, and helpful. I threw my mom a surprise birthday party and they were so great. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. 10/10 recommend Harvey’s to anyone looking for a spot in Saratoga!

Harvey’s was recommended at the hotel and it was a great suggestion. You know how a good experience can be elevated by the right person? Well, that was Matt for us. He was funny and just seemed to enjoy having us as his customers. I had the Shepard’s pie and my date had the fish and (sweet potato) chips. The beer choices and Irish nachos were good too! I will be back

We were in town for a long weekend and stopped in at Harvey's, where we knew we could count on a good meal and good service. Not disappointed! If you go to Harvey's, and Matt (the owner) stops by your table, be sure to tell him that the "folks who forget their hats" sent you. And enjoy!
