Great for happy hour if you can sit outside

We went twice for happy hour after work. The drinks are priced lower and they have a limited bar food menu. The good thing was that we could sit outside and spread out, and they let us sit for a long while. The food wasn’t great, but the drinks were good and it was a lot of fun. We will go back.

A real deal in Riverdale

If you're visiting The Bronx and wind up in Riverdale and need an excellent burger, this is your stop. Have been going to the Blackstone since it opened in 2014 and have always enjoyed the lack of pretense and the efforts to provide quality food and drink. Always an interesting selection of beer. Steve, the owner is a cool local guy who built a place that really does match up well its neighborhood. He worked with me when I was hosting a birthday party there and it turned out great. One quibble: Parking can be a chore during the day, but honestly you can find a spot with some patience and getting there isn't too bad by bus.
