Stopped for coffee

Stopped in from out of town for a cup of coffee and a Danish 7pm May 25th. While I was making my coffee at creamer stand I watched a girl sweeping the floor and collecting it in the dust pan with handle. She grabbed the dustpan with both hands and dumped it into the garbage and someone called her from the kitchen. She said hold on I'll be right there put the broom and dustpan down, and then walked up to the window and started grabbing the plates and walking over and handing them to the people at their table. Did not have gloves on and never did stop to wash her hands. 😬. I like Panera bread, I go to them no matter what town I am in. And I am sure this is an isolated incident. But I found that to be a little bit disturbing that they would call somebody that is actually cleaning the floors to come and grab people's food from the kitchen window and bring it to tables. 1/ staff a little better for the afternoon shift. 2/ require your servers to wear plastic gloves.

So Inconsistent

During December I used their drive-thru a few times because of a promotion. Twice I got exactly what I should have gotten, and the food was very good. Once I got soup but no croutons with it; another time the baguette was stale. I was told they had stopped making the holiday mitten cookies according to company directive. Trouble was that other Panera stores had them. Because I often eat at a Panera, and have consistently accurate meals, it is disappointing to find the Malta store inconsistent. They can do better.

Easy to find

This location is easy to find off I-87. The service was slow, and the food quality was inconsistent. The soup was luke warm, but the cinnamon roll was fine. I do not intend to return.

Ordered small cucumber salad and a large Mac and cheese and either my driver for door dahs ate half of it or you guys ran out. Container more than half empty. #firstworldproblems

Im one trick pony and always get the broccoli cheese bread bowl. Wow is it good. My wife has tried just about every thing on the menu and it is always fresh and delicious

Very nice Panera, Lots of outdoor seating. Just off the main drag but not a lot of road noise. We wanted a quick easy dinner and this filled the bill !!

This what I paid 30 bucks for 2 sandwiches the same way and soup its a joke I will never eat at panera bread again this was from the malta store its a joke over priced processed meat when u get some its not rocket science to make a sandwich I will be looking for refund and calling cooperation

First, a drive-thru!! With the kids in tow. This is amazing. Every single time I’ve gone, the customer service has been over the top, and the food has been delicious as usual. This is a weekly go-to. Thanks Panera!

Worst grilled cheese ever

We've never been to a Panera and it was pouring out so we went here as it was right by our hotel. I ordered a half steak and cheese, and a cup of squash soup. Soup was very good, sandwich was so-so. Didn't like the pickled onions or whatever the pink things on it were. My husband ordered tomato soup and grilled cheese. The soup, fine. The "grilled" cheese was so bad we laughed out loud and were also upset at how ridiculous it was. Literally 2 pieces of slightly toasted bread and a sad pathetic amount of cheese (see pic). Also ordered 2 mochas that had an off taste, not good. 30 dollars for what we received is insane. 1st and last time at this chain for us.

I took a toothpick out of the sandwich and then I took one out of my mouth.

My wife and I ordered the soup and sandwich combo as we have done in many Panera's across the country. When we got ours, my soup was about half the amount that was in my wife's bowl. I asked if they ran out of the soup, and was then given a replacement bowl with a full serving. I had half a Mediterranean sandwich. I took out the toothpick, see picture and then began eating. On my second bite I felt a pin prick on the roof of my mouth and took out part of a tooth pick that must have broken off. This could have ended badly. I gave both the toothpicks to the manager as I left the restaurant. She apologized and said she would speak to the staff. I could not recommend this Panera's.

Wonderful salads, soups and sandwiches

My companion had the broccoli and cheddar soup with a melted cheese sandwich. It was drool-worthy! I had a Southwestern Salad. Both our meals were excellent. We topped off our visit by picking up pastries from the bakery, before we left!

Clean, quick,friendly lunch

Met friends here for a lunch hour. Attendants were very friendly and eager to please. You can order yourself using a kiosk or go to the counter. Either way they deliver your food to your table. I like the option of pick 2. Half a sandwich and a bowl of broccoli cheddar for me. I had the regular grilled cheese on cranberry walnut bread! They even had caffeine free Diet Coke available. The only issue might be parking. Smaller parking lot for a Panera. BUT THEY HAVE A DRIVE THRU!!
