Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My boyfriend and I stopped in this town on the way home. Adorable village. We bought some gifts and wine at other stores and then stopped here after it was recommended by an employee of one of the stores. It’s only paninis, but they are delicious! Service is fast, clean, super friendly! This is an old/remodeled caboose with a cute porch, outside dining. If we lived in this town, we’d be regulars.

Visiting Inlet and having lunch at the Caboose was one of the highlights of our trip to Raquett Lake

The sandwich was good, and it is just that a regular sized sandwich made into a panini, nothing too special. Not worth the almost $12 they charge for it, had to pay extra for chips. For the price, the chips should have been already part of the meal. Had to wait awhile, even though they weren't too busy. Nice, friendly staff, but the food is too pricey for what you actually get.

Quaint, well thought-out place for a light lunch. Panini sandwiches and chips. Sandwiches are small but tasty. Owner couldn’t have been nicer to us and our son, letting him look around the caboose.

Our family ate lunch here during a recent trip to the Adirondacks. This cafe is a refurbished train caboose with a nice (but small) outdoor seating area. The menu consists of paninis (which came with chips, drink) which worked well for us, but it would have been nice to have a few other options (i.e. salads, wraps). They are also pet-friendly and had dog treats and water available for our pooch. The food was delicious and we talked with the owners, who had just purchased it a few months ago. (Not sure if it was a restaurant under a different name before). Highly recommend if you are in the area.
