Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here on a girls weekend. The town of Inlet was adorable and we had heard good things about this place. We enjoyed the pizza very much but the grumpy waitstaff really ruined it for us. The older waitress behind the bar could care less about helping us out or answering our questions. Acted like she was being put out by helping us. I believe her name was Sharon. Well, Sharon ruined the mood for all of us. I would go back for the food again but certainly not for the atmosphere or service.

Stopped into the Screamin' Eagle with my wife during a one night stay in Inlet. We have been to Inlet countless times but hadn't had a chance to stop in here until last night. Let's start with the good. We got two orders of wings, medium and Bad Azz BBQ. Both varieties were excellent. Good sized, nice and crispy and the sauce on both was great. Probably some of the best wings I've had in a very long time. We ordered a garlic pizza. Not bad, pretty much standard pizza but tasted fresh, ample chees and the crust was good. We also got an order of garlic cheese bread. Excellent. In retrospect we would probably have enjoyed two orders of these more than the pizza. Great draft beer menu. No liquor but plenty of wine and beer options to enjoy at the 20 stool bar around the back of the place. Now the not so good. Food took 120 minutes arrive. They did advise of the wait time when we ordered and told us it was fine to come back in two hours. Since the bar was there we didn't really mind waiting. The staff for the most part was working hard but the systems in the place seem to be really lacking. Staffing is no doubt hard in a small town, especially at the end of the tourist season, but I really think adding some sort of self service option for placing food in orders, something like the Toast system, would allow them to get food and drinks out faster and better in less time with the same amount of staff. While we were at the bar the bartender had to refund several customers orders for items that were missed between the kitchen and the customer. We also heard several members of the staff talking about how many hours they had worked in the last couple weeks. We saw a lot of money walk out the door because the ordering profess and wait staff are just poorly organized. The food was so good we will return anytime we are visiting Inlet and have time for an extended meal.

Great food although kitchen delivers as entrees are finished so not all meals arrive together. It's both a bar and restaurant - so a mix of folks trying the local beers on tap and families with children. Sandwiches are good and come with delicious crispy fries. The pre made desserts are great for grab n go at the local beach and park area.

Ordered food to go on Wednesday, July 8 and was told it would be 1.5 - 1 hour and to come back at 8:00PM to pick up our food. We offered to call to see if/when our food was ready. No, just come back at 8:00. Okay, we ordered a large pizza, caprese salad, caesar salad, and garlic bread. The salads were pitiful but worse the pizza was burned and dried up.

Travel during NY Phase III reopening is new to us. Find an empty table before you can order food. Get your own paper plates & tableware. The wings were very good. The pizza took a very long time, but it was good and delivered with an apology.. Beer choices were very good. We went an hour before closing time, and it was "crowded". It appeared that the limited staff was too busy given the number of guests. We did not see the closest nearby table cleaned before the next guests seated themselves. Everyone inside was wearing masks when not seated. This is good because I found myself bumping into people as I ran between the bar where I ordered to our table. This was during a very short period of time, and probably atypical. It's got to be tough running a restaurant in these times, so we'll give the benefit of the doubt. We suspect that on Tuesday night they may have been the only place open in town.

Was told by couple in Old Forge about this place and it is worth the 20 minute drive form there. It is a different place, but by no means a difficult place. You order your food in the middle of the restaurant like a fast food counter. The place itself is a restaurant and a cool dive bar. The wings were so good. Even their hot sauce had good hotness and flavor to it. The service was really fast, too.

This place is, without a doubt, a very, very popular local place. The two of us went there at 4:00 pm hoping to avoid the crowd. Didn't work. There were two table available....even the bar and outdoor seating were back. You seat yourself, order up front and they bring the food to your table. We had a small pizza and an order of wings. Both very good. Personally, if you live locally you'd do better ordering take out than trying to find a table.

Ordered a pizza from here as we had a long drive that’s day. We figured it would be easier to just do that on our first day of vacation. What a mistake. The pizza was not only burned badly but iced cold too. I’m thinking because we are vacationers they don’t care about our repeat business.

A weird set up as mentioned another reviews. You place your order at the front and then wait. We were informed that there was only pizza and wings available. We just ordered wings and I have to say they were fantastic. Just know what you’re getting into before you start but if you want some great wings this is your place. You can also get beers around the backside at the bar.

Best.Wings.EVER. Drunken wings are the best you’ll ever have. Crispy but doused in their delicious sauce. Not too spicy…just right. We go several times on our yearly vacation to 4th Lake & can’t wait till next time.

Terrible service. No one, including the bartender paid any attention when going up to the bar to order. Decided to walk out and have leftovers. Unless ordering take out, forget it.

Friendly counter help, huge menu, quick service. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. And don’t forget to get some of the homemade cookies

There are three attractions here: 50+ beers on tap, wings and pizza. There is a somewhat unusual method of ordering and some people are put off by it (but shouldn’t be). There is no server who comes to your table to take your order. Instead, you order at the bar and a server will bring your order to your table, capisce? Management could do a better job of letting you know this but once you’re aware of of it, it’s no big deal. Beer selection is impressive. The offerings change from week to week but there are a few that are always going to be there. Lots of interesting selections to choose from. The wings are probably the best you’ll ever have — my 12-year old grandson says they’re the best in the universe. As for the pizza, it seems to get very good reviews but this isn’t my favorite. I like a chewy crust and you’re not going to find that here. The pizza is OK (as one scholar famously said, “Pizza is like sex. Even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good.”), but not award winning. It can get busy at times and seating can be hard to come by. Some reviewers complain that some of the staff can be a bit surly. There’s an answer for that. Have another beer.
