This is outstanding. You go for the vue and the sunset event is completely well organised. Picked up from our hotel and transported up the mountain in time to watch the sunset. Had to wait 90 m. Until getyinv someghing to eat. No sppetizers nothing!! Only soft and alckhol drinks. Full of bugs and lizards snd one even fekt into my plate and tge staf didn't care or respond to the situation. The food is less then...everage and if you asck for extras they responx badly. It placed in an area in ckntaction with very slipery and steep road no lights so when we finished we had to walk in the dark in very bad riad conditions. The price is unproportional to ghe offer.More

Long story short: high price, bad service and mediocre food. Stay away from this resturant. When we arrived we had to wait hour and a half min to actually get started with the food. When we ask for the menu, the waitre was rude ,...said they did not have a menu and was angry at us for not knowing it. Then, when we asked to drink we discovered that despite the expensive price, drinking is not included. They didn't even provide tap water, we had to buy it. The place was full of insects- in the middle of the meal a lizard (!!!!)fell from the ceiling straight to our plate. None of the waiters approached us to pick up the plate, we had to ask. The food was mediocre. Service is bad. It's like they forget about you once you get the food. No attention to the dinners at all! The dessert (which we got after most of the tables had already received the bill), was very small in relation to the price. We came out hungry, angry and disappointed.More

When we arrived it looked like they just opened the place and were not ready for people (we did arrive with their taxi). We had to wait 90 min to actually get started with the food! We booked ghe sunsetdinner. The food was very tasty and fresh. The personal was kind and the view is really something special. For me some must do on la digue!

Paid for their sunset meal which costs 600scr pp (cash only) including transportation to and from your hotel which is necessary as it’s up a really steep hill below the highest point on La Digue. The taxi drops you off and there is a slightly...steep walk up to the restaurant itself . Quite a long wait for the meal but time to watch the fruit bats flying around and see the sunset with Praslin in the distance. Great views. Meal was delicious. Creole food with several dishes including a vegetarian curry and a whole red snapper . Drinks good value. Worth a visit.More

Honestly, it was a horrible experience. To start with the price is extremely expensive for what they offer. They offer a service where the driver will pick you up at your hotel, but the driver was rude, rude and acted like he was doing me...a favor by being there. Nobody told me what time he was going to show up and apparently I should have stayed on the street waiting for him to pass for a period of 30 minutes until he arrived. When he arrived he was extremely bad, being rude and rushing me, threatening me to leave as he had no time to waste. Arriving there the food was very ok for the price charged, no biggie and not worth the price. Also, they make fools of themselves pretending it's all inclusive (that's what they sell you) but in the end when the bill comes you find out that the drink is apart and that if you repeat something you pay. They don't even have a menu there, clearly trying to wring money out of you at any cost. They play dumb to come up with the surprise bill at the end. The food took more than 1 hour to be ready. In the end, the driver, still out of personal revenge for what had happened before, made a point of leaving me last at my hotel (I was supposed to be the second one) and was rude when I got out of the van. Never waste your time and money and never go to this restaurant. The view is not too much for the price charged. Expensive, horrible experience. You should never go.More

We had a sunset dinner at the restaurant. The have a great service that picks you up and drops you off at wherever you are staying. The view is breathtaking and the food is good, but you wait very long for it to arrive. Upon...arrival, they ask you what you would like to drink (and to be honest, for the price I thought at least one drink would be included) and made the loveliest fruit and rum cocktail. Unfortunately we spent more than our budget on those drinks! My suggestion would be to have a drinks menu on the table so customers could see the price of what they are ordering before and not ask every time they want to drink something. Also, prepare the customers for the wait. Maybe have a set time of when the food will be served and inform the clients. We brought our 2,5 year old son with us and he was beyond hungry and becoming a bit restless. I need to mention, though, that they did give him a dessert without charging us extra for that. We also quite enjoyed the green gecko's catching insects by the lights.More

We had dinner here and booked the taxi with it - exercise is nice and all, but I can't imagine making the trek up there for dinner. I thought it was extremely reasonably priced considering that transportation was included and there were multiple courses in...the set menu for dinner. Food was great - we had a really enjoyable meal. But, the sunset views are the reason you should make this place a priority while on La Digue.More

One of the top highlights of my honeymoon. The food was great, but the hospitality was why I give this place a 5 star. I wish I would have got the name of the guy who helped us that night but he is responsible for...me and my wife having such a great experience here . This is my first trip advisor review and only doing so because this place was so great .More

Didn't eat here, but dropped in for rehydration after slogging up to Le Nid de l'Aigle in intense heat. Enjoyed the fantastic balcony views while sipping a superb fresh fruit smoothie - bliss!
