Espanola's only local handcrafted beer and pizza. We have a variety of fresh beers from light pilsners and ales, to perfectly hopped Lady Bug IPA, to our lovely dark La Llorona Scottish ale. Our pizzas are all hand made with fresh ingredients.

The restaurant served pizza and their beers with wine from La Chiripada winery. This restaurant is located directly across from the headquarters for the New Mexico Rafting Adventures. The pizza was very good and the beer was nice and cold. The outdoor patio has umbrellas so it's not too hot to start off there and perhaps gradually move in doors. There are just a hand full of tables inside though.

Went for dinner here with a friend. Nice atmosphere. My friend is a regular and ordered a Valle pizza, which has chicharrones, provolone, and green chile, and then added mushrooms and olives. Excellent thin crust. We had Scottish Ales, which were also excellent. Worth searching this place out.

Pizza, beer & great service. Ordered a regular sized & bambini sized pizza for 3 hungry people. Server’s advice was helpful. Beer was also excellent - our fav was the Kanyon Kolsch.

The food was good but the price of the food was way, way, way much too expensive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but the tables were way too small especially if you had 5 guests sitting at the same table. Another point regarding this restaurant is the music playing was loud, and the actual dining area acoustics were terrible, consequently it was very hard to even hold or hear a conversation with someone sitting next to you, not to mention across the table from you.
As I said the food tasted good but due to the extensive prices for the food, I’d think twice about eating here, unless you’ve recently won the lottery.

Fun stop to grab a beer and listen to some terrible karaoke. The beer was good and refreshing after a day of hiking. We only saw the pizza but the food all looked good.

Stopped by on the way back from Taos to Santa Fe. Small place, but beers were quite good and refreshing. Bartender was very helpful with selections. Would stop by again when in the area.

This was a nice find in Espanola. Good atmosphere, nice bar. Good service. Pizza a bit greasy but really good. Lots of parking.

We excited to try Blue Heron in Espanola. But but but! We were sadly disappointed.
1. Parking lot weedy and disorganized.
2.Sat ourselves at tables and waited.......no servers....walked up to the bar to order....was told to return to table and wait. Finally a friendly waitress appeared.
3.ordered pizza....fairly soon it was served. Whoa...we could hardly chew the thin hard crust. Pizza was tasteless.
4.Price above average. So we expected above average food!
5.Very very noisy room...poor acoustics for the live entertainment.
6. Darn....our Hope's were high.

Good beer outrageously priced food amd its just pizza and salad. If the food was more reasonable then they would sell more period!! Its the reason i barely go there to eat. I have heard others say the same.

All our pizzas are hand made with our very own original dough and fresh ingredients. We are a small business and are quite different then the larger commercial pizza chains. So our pizzas do cost a little more, but they are unlike any other pizza you can get in Espanola.

stopped by en route to ghost ranch because we wanted to check out a local eatery. the pizza was excellent, as was the home-brewed root beer. i'm not a beer drinker but was totally impressed that the offerings on the chalk board are listed from lightest to darkest. restaurant, bar, outside/patio seating, and area with a pool table. friendly staff, quick service. being from the southeast, this seemed like a totally local place (which i liked!)

I tried the pizza two years and it was good but I didn't go back. In those two years, everything has changed. I whole heatedly recommend this restaurant. Excellent pizza and beer. Friendly and helpful staff and free pool to boot. I'll be back for sure. The next best pizza in town isn't half as good.

Went with my children. Been there a few times. Always tasty and good times. Live music a plus. Table games good for the children. Flight and el valle my faves.

We poked around Espanola after Puye Cliffs and glad we did. Beer here is well done (IPA not quite as hop-loaded as those from west coast FYI) but still delicious. Great service (are all New Mexicans this friendly?).
