We stopped in for breakfast and SUPER glad we did! Little hole in the wall that makes DELICIOUS red and green chili to go over your eggs, potatoes and refried beans. Huge yummy flour tortillas.
Reasonable prices. Nice gentleman took our order and then cooked it. Owner?
You place your order at register and then go grab it from the window-like I said hole in the wall and well worth the stop.

This was a pleasant surprise and glad I stopped. Pleas staff and clean environment. Had the Cuban torta and husband had chicken burrito. Both were flavorful, well seasoned and well made. My Cuban was a layering of ham and pulled pork with all the fixings on a crispy bun. Excellent all the way to the last bite. Husband enjoyed his burrito. Said it was tender chicken and well seasoned. If your in the area,check them out.

The place was hoppin' on Father's Day. Friendly people efficient service and reasonable prices. AND the FOOD is amazing! Muy autentico. The red chile bit back just enough and the refreshing licuadio cooled the heat.

My favorite there is the Camarones Cocktail. It is flavorful, spicy and not too hot. Their sandwiches are freshly made and delicious. I like the Cubano.

Great food, the service can be a bit slow, especially in the evening hours. The taste of the food is worth the wait. The workers are friendly and helpful.

The menudo is awesome, the owners are very friendly . The best part , they are from chihuahua .
We just recently moved here and are from El Paso and Las Cruces. We have tried to find authentic menudo .
This place has even better than I can remember . Only thing I missed was the oregano , but you really didn’t even need it .
If you are looking for real Mexican , not New Mexican , this is your spot !

We stopped by seeing chili relleos on sign. A simple luncheonette with a very broad menu. Relleos are awesome. Hawaiian torta was so good that my wife ordered it twice. I tried a stuff sopapilla and was awed again. They had a great imported Mexican soda selection. I liked the fresh grilled whole jalepanos and onions on the condiment area. Great place for awesome food. Great prices. Casual. Order at register.

Hubby and I stopped for a late lunch while traveling from Taos to Albuquerque. We both had the taco plate. I picked chicken and pulled pork; he shredded beef. We decided the pork and beef were the best. Very flavorful! The food is pretty spicy with the pico de gallo, and the choice of extra green or red hot sauce. We also had agua frescas which cooled the burn.
Total lunch cost -$20.

My wife had tacos while I had enchiladas. She couldn't stop talking about how good they were. The enchiladas were great also. This place is real popular with the locals, which is what we like.People kept coming in to get orders to go. This was the only less than great thing about the "Rainbow." The girl was on the phone a lot and I had to wait to get my questions answered. I recommend this eatery!

We found this gem en route from Abiquiú to Santa Fe. We took a detour to check it out. So glad we stopped. I’m sure we were the only folks from out of town.
Tortas Rainbow, in heart of Española, is authentic Mexican Street Food says other reviewers, and not Tex-Mex. I believe it.
We enjoyed platters of shredded beef enchiladas, one green and one red, with extra red chili sauce on the side. Perfectly spiced. Also had Mexican Coke, 10X better taste than USA-made Coke with corn syrup.
Freshly prepared to order. Promptly served.
Few tables for sit-in, or take out.
We met the proprietor and learned he’s owned and run the place for past 8 years. He’s proud of his store, and friendly to new patrons.
Menu in Spanish and English. No language problem.
No beer or wine license.
Tips: Ask for extra Red or Green sauce, and don’t be turned away by the location in a tired Strip Shopping Center.

Some of the best Mexican in town. Not served fancy. Burritos were best deal for money. Did take out often while living there.wonderful salsa

We stopped in for lunch when passing through Espanola and were very pleased that we did. We loved the carnitas tacos and enjoyed the steak burrito. Very simple presentation, but the flavors were amazing. Definitely want to come back!

We had a torta, a burrito and shrimp cocktail to share. Everything was delicious and the meal was less than $20! The service was super fast and very friendly. Highly recommended for a quick bite!
