May Flower is your usual take-out Chinese location, but their online ordering was seamless. For being a tiny location and a neighborhood destination, they have a really nice website and system. The service was really nice and friendly, and prices reasonable. I had their black bean shrimp and wonton soup. Everything was a notch above the typical take out, and overall I was satisfied. If you live around the area, they may be a good choice.

4 of us ordered food. First, the "pork fried rice" was just bland plain yellow rice with a few bits of pork. No veggies. No onions. NO FLAVOR. My sweet and sour shrimp was okay, all 4 pieces, but without any decent rice, I was left hungry. My friend got the honey chicken and the sauce was on the "crispy" chicken. It soaked in and must not have had any flavor because tasted like breading and chicken. And awful bland rice. She ended up getting snacks from the vending machine for lunch. The bourbon chicken was hard and dry my other friend said. I could see that was the case. Same bad rice. And the last person had chicken w/mushrooms. It was eh at best, and you guessed it, same bad rice. It was cheap, so I guess that is all the good things I can say about my experience. I am still really craving good Chinese food so I guess I will order anywhere else but here.

A real hidden gem: Quite frankly, the food carries this place. It is a small, but very clean hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant and the owners are very hard working and take their business very seriously. I have visited virtually every Chinese restaurant in the area and I still prefer to wind up going to this place. No matter what you order, the taste and quality of the food beats most of the other places I know about... even the more upscale Asian restaurants with more pricey table service. Food is very reasonably priced. Everyone I take here to eat has nothing but good things to say about it.
