Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were seated immediately. Our waitress was nice. Ordered drinks and personal pan pizzas for each of us. They are well done pizzas. They are very thin crust, almost cracker like. It was good, but not excellent. They do a nice business there. I saw...a sign upon walking in that they don't take credit cards. Interesting in 2024.More

Kelly, Sorry you were not wowed about our pizza. We definitely make our pizza’s well done and thin. I do realize that our pizza is not for everyone. Thanks for the feedback.

We have rated more than 1,000 restaurants across the country. While the reviews were glowing, it was nothing but good about anything. The first concern was the huge steps to enter the restaurant from Main Street. It clearly was not ADA compliant for people with...disabilities. We were seated in the back of the restaurant with little space to walk between the tables. The manager then moved a table for two in the walkway preventing egress from the dining room in the event of an emergency ‼️. We ordered a large pizza 🍕 but their selection of basic pizzas was not appetizing so we requested several additional toppings including sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and peppers for taste. While the menu said there was an slight additional cost, we were flabbergasted that a 16” pizza would cost us more than $47. Simply outrageous to charge for something with taste. Maybe that’s why people were ordering on plain pizzas with one additional topping. We have copied the receipt as proof of these allegations. We both ordered veal parmigiana. One dish was hot from the oven while the other was lukewarm. The tomato sauce 🥫 was not made from quality ingredients. It was more like jarred sauce. No cool 😎. The veal was over breaded and soggy rather than crispy on the outside. The knife and other utensils on the table were poor quality which made cutting anything difficult. In short, we will not be back. There are other Greek restaurants that serve the same dishes that include bread 🥖 on the table, a garden salad or soup and a small dessert for the same price. Guess where we’ll go next time.More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience. I assure you that we make everything in the restaurant fresh from my Grandparents recipes. Our Italian food unfortunately is not to your liking. Again, I am sorry you did not enjoy.

An old school treasure! Hustle and bustle from the moment you walk in which is all directed towards prompt, courteous service and deliver of a hot meal. Perhaps the best thin crust pizza in central Jersey. Beware of new parking charges in rear lot (they’ll...even warn you and lead you to the nearby kiosk!) Great bar. Great service (seemed like every staffer passing by our table asked if all was ok). A good casual setting for friends and family. GO!More

One of the worst dining experiences I have had. Mother's Day - 14 in the party. We asked if we could have separate checks (each family paying their own) - the hostess said they are incapable of doing it and snidely asked if we would...need a caculator - This restaurant is incapable of separate checks and only takes cash. We were seated upstairs and the AC was blasting on top of us. I ordered the Linguini and White Clams Sauce. This was a mistake. No real flavor with the exception of the oregano that must have been poured on profusely. It was bitter and without flavor. They offered me something else - I ordered the chicken marsala because I was told that was a quick fix. By the time I got the dinner the rest of the party were ready to leave. I took it to go. Mind you they also charged me more money for this dinner than the clams would have been. The manager/owner actually had the nerve to say he charged me more because it is a specialty item Time for the bill - try figuring that out. We were all paying for our families. They combined dinners and salads from different people. This made for a confusing time to figure it out. The best part!!! When I got home I opened the to go and there is a hair on the chicken - and the grease is abundant not to mention obviously canned mushrooms. Horrible experience! Stay away!More

Went to Fererici's Pizzeria for a Funeral Repast in the late afternoon last week. Service and food were good, large selection of favorites and a liquor license! My mistake to order the Shrimp Fetticini Alfredo, and expect more than a few shrimp! My fellow diners...were pleased with the lasagna, salads, soups, and someone ordered a small pizza! Dessert looked delicious, but it was a weekday, and business called.More

I adore destination food drives. GPS said this is a 30 minute drive from Staten Island Beautiful quaint old town. The food is amazing. I had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The shrimp was nothing special not my Tickle. The fettuccine was first class world renowned...the best I've ever had. So good! we also had eggplant Parm and Tender Veal cutlet Parm. I always order my sauce on the side because well frankly I'm Very fussy. This time I forgot to order it on the side and I'm so glad I did this sauce was amazing just a slight touch of spice. My husband had two heros he had the sausage and peppers and he has a meatball Parm he devoured them. . I strongly recommend this place and yes well worth the drive. Do you make this drive. And definitely explore this town. I stayed in the car so I'm not really sure about wheelchair access We were Parked by a library and there were stairs. However there were a couple of rest stops on the way down so I would recommend using them before you got to the town. Parking is another issue there's no parking in front of the business however they did appear to be parking on the street Takeout is behind back. Went back 2 weeks later still amazing... we added the Shrimp Scampi Pizza, this is a MUST try. Super thin.... They roll out the pizza dough so u can see through it...(I imagine)More
