Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great experience, quality food, perfect taste in this small Ramen restaurant in Fort Lee, NJ, no wonder this place is recommended by Japanese nationals, quaint atmosphere, with pleasant customer service, even though they have many combinations of Ramen, I will recommend you go with the traditional TONKOTSU RAMEN, you won't be disappointed.

Dec 2019 family
Small, authentic restaurant in Fort Lee, NJ. It was a pleasant experience and giving it 4 stars because the 20-somethings in the family love it but thought the food was blah. Good things; friendly service, small place with charming decor, large waiting area, pork belly from soup tender, homemade noodles. Not so great; limited parking, seats only about 12 with 6 seats at bar, pork broth a bit bland and only warm not hot, gyoza dripping with grease with undercooked filling, fried noodle dish small portion and bland, cost $2 for small extra portion of sprouts, BYOB. BUT the kids have been there repeatedly and love it. Got us in mode to seek out ramen again but will try other spots before returning.

Three of us loved our ramen. We chose Black which was smoky flavored. The kids enjoyed the miso ramen and the gyoza was delish

They do specialize in ramyun and thus their dishes are great in taste and presentation. Cannot go there often as I try to avoid saltness in the soup base.

A very clean restaurant. Nice, friendly and attentive staff. Their ramen and gyoza are so tasty. We always go there whenever we are in the area.

Love their ramen. You get a huge portion, and the price is very fair for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend to anyone in the Fort Lee area. Lots of competition in the neighborhood, but this place blows them all away.

The award winning gyoza (dumplings) are so tiny and tasty that you don't even care they cost about a dollar each. The pork flavor bursts with a steamy delight and can be accented in any way you like with their wide array of spices and herbs. Very authentic and they make all of their noodles in house. The ramen is outstanding, some of the best I've ever had, and the only difference between all the ramen is the broth and how it's flavored (so don't look to far into it). My personal favorite is the Ankake Yaki Ramen because the squid is really good. The soupless dish comes with a small amount of seafood and I wouldn't recommend, but everything else at this place is a grand slam. I'm a reoccurring guest for a reason, it always hits the spot.

This is our go-to ramen place. Always delicious. The ambiance is hectic sometimes, and the music is always "kitch". But the ramen dishes are perfect, and so are the gyoza.

My boyfriend took me here for lunch. It was packed so we sat at the bar right in front of the kitchen. It was so interesting watching the cooks make all the dishes. Even the owner was in the middle of the cooking for the lunch rush. Amazing food! Cant wait to come back!!

Cozy, but bustling little BYOB restaurant, which is a great plus (and not always welcomed for some odd reason in Ft. Lee). There are not a lot of option choices on the menu outside of ramen BUT, that’s what you’re there for. Delicious in-house noodles, fresh ingredients, savory broths, humongous bowls 🍜, good service and prices and a fantastic logo design. Definitely recommend! 👍🏻

I can't rave enough about this place. I've been coming here for years, and am never disappointed. I usually opt for the Karakuchi Ramen, which has a strong kick (beware for those who can't handle their spices). It's very authentic, down to the Japanese cartoon-y music they play. Gyozas are very popular too, but I've found the Gyu-don and other rice bowl too small for $5.
