Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The parking lot was so packed, but we still managed to find a spot. It’s bustling and packed inside the restaurant tonight l. There are 12 locations around the US. It can get loud up in here, loud like a cafeteria. It’s a very active and busy location. We ordered two kimchi soondubu one with beef and super spicy and the other without meat and medium spicy. $52.21. The rice comes in a hot stone pot, it still needed to cook for a few minutes more at our table. The banchans: shredded beef, kimchi, broccoli, deep fried fish, fish cake, spicy stir fried squid. The staff are all on top of it to make sure your bachans are full and you are taken care of during your meal. The tteokbokki is too sweet, the sauce is a bit odd and grainy too, but the rice cakes are at least nicely cooked and still chewy too. My husband is convinced the sauce came out of a box or kit and wasn’t homemade. We bought a packet once and it too had that grainy texture to it. The fish is way over fried and was too hard to eat. Our waitress gave us more chili to add to our tofu soups to make it hotter. The tofu soups are pretty good. The broth is quite flavorful. I would prefer the egg go in while it’s on the pot. It didn’t have enough time to cook once the soup was at the table for me. The service is the best we have had all week while in Fort Lee or Palisade Park.

A friend of mine went to this restaurant for a good Korean food. It didn’t disappoint. It was not a surprise that it’s a busy and never ending stream of customers. The food was absolutely delicious, service is fast and courteous. Plenty of parking depending on when you arrived.

My friends love coming here. I am not too crazy about it but the food doesn't taste bad. I think it is a bit pricey for what they serve.

Location close to the bridge, there are always some traffic but the Saturday night we went was crazy. Luckily the food is good here. We order the pancakes for apps and each had different tofu soups - all very good: pork, beef, kimchee. The tofu soups comes out piping hot - enough to cook a raw egg, so tasty; we also love the kalbi and side fixings. I was not able to finish and had leftovers for lunch the next day.

Right across the George Washington Bridge over to Fort Lee, NJ is where you can get good Korean food at affordable prices. We found this restaurant serving classic soft-tofu soup, and also some bibimbop and bulgogi dishes. The inside was a good size, with a good amount of seating. They had a kids play room next to the dining room, and they had a monitor that shows the live feed of the room. So, you could leave your kids in there while you eat at the table peacefully, knowing (seeing) your kid is safe. We both ordered Soon Tofu combo, and I ordered Spicy Pork Bulgogi Combo. The tofu soup had a choice of Assorted Seafood & Beef or Vegetable tofu soup. You can change the type of tofu soup with an additional cost if you want. I changed mine to just Beef tofu soup. The soup bowl was not as big, but then again, having it with meat dish and rice would be more than enough. When ordering Soon tofu, you need to choose the level of spiciness. I went with “Mild” instead of “Medium.” The spiciness was good, not very spicy. The Beef Soon Tofu was pretty good, it had a good amount of beef in it. We cracked open the raw egg that came with the appetizer and let it cook in the hot soup. The Spicy Pork Bulgogi was excellent, the marinate was simply delicious! Pretty good portion and it was the perfect comfort food. My husband went with LA Gochujang Pork Combo. He change the tofu soup to be Seafood Soon Tofu. The broth had very distinctive seafood broth flavor to it, very different from their beef soon tofu. It was tasty and my husband enjoyed every bite of it. LA Gochujang Pork is very similar to Spicy Pork Bulgogi. The main difference is that the meat used in the LA Gochujang Pork is more fatty than the bulgogi. The flavor itself was almost the same as the bulgogi. The service was ok, they were efficient but not overly friendly. Maybe they are not too used to non-Korean customers? They were nice enough though. The food was great and I thought the price was good when you consider all the food that you are receiving. I would like to go back again to get some more of their soon tofu!

Still a good place to eat, good for families and friendly staff. The oysters in the tofu soup is quite small compared to SGD but more. Plenty of parking. Normal prices. No WiFi. Tofu firmer than other places. Selection of side dishes are better now... Gave it 3 stars before but upgraded to 4 now since there's improvement.

Especially if you like it spicy. It's bustling and informal, not a good meeting or date type place. Speciality as you can tell is tofu stew but they have a full Korean menu pretty much.

Solid tofu soup/soondubu. Good side dishes, especially the fried fish. The stone pot rice is always delicious. You can order different degree of spicy. Large seating area available.

We had eaten at a Korean restaurant in Williamsburg so were skeptical when our friends suggested Korean food, we were glad we tried. The variety was excellent, service wonderful and size of meals large. We look forward to returning to visit NJ to eat here again and will give Korean food another try in Virginia.
