Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited this place with some friends. Did not know what to expect... the place was not much to look at, but it turned out to be a really nice experience. Not knowing what Peruvian cuisine was about. I asked the server (who’s English was very broken and difficult to understand) what she might recommend. She asked our preference to seafood, chicken, or beef. Upon our answer she made incredible recommendations. When the meals arrived, they were very large portions and looked great. The meals were amazing. It was BYOB. It really turned into a great experience and when the check came...it was a great value. Will be back. Real nice time.

Best Peruvian food we've had in NJ! We have not been disappointed yet, and eat at Marino's at least once every other month. The traditional Ceviche Mixto, and the Parihuela is amazing. It's the most flavorful soup with delicious seafood. Most recently, we had a family birthday party in our home, with the food catered by Marino's. We ordered the Seafood Paella, Chicharron, Anticuchos, and Parilla a Lo Marino. The portions were large, the food was fresh (they were closing the trays in front of me when I arrived), Anna provided extra sauces and chimichurri for us, and the service overall was top notch.

I went with a friend during lunch hour and I am impressed with the food and the amount of food that you get for $7 at lunch time. Our waitress was great. The place was pretty crowded. Nice and clean as well. The only drawback that I saw was they were a bit slow getting the food to you. If it was dinner time I think the timing was right but at lunch time you have to keep in mind that people are at lunch and have to get back to work, other than that I would definately recommend this place and will definately go back

They actually have two locations. Both equally as good. The fried rice with steak, shrimp, or chicken is the best you will ever eat. The smoky rice taste is great. The Lamb stew is my favorite. The meat falls off the bone! The fried fish platter is HUGE and delicious. They run a great place!

I eat ceviches from all over NJ, gotta say this place is on my top 5 places to go have some good crviche. Tallarin saltado, chaufa, lomo saltado and pescado a lo macho was really good. Just wish they use other fish than tilapia.

I have been to both locations and even ordered food from there for my wedding rehearsal. Now I live in SC but every time I go visit family during the holidays I go there. I just stopped there in my to NY because I couldnt be that close and not eat there. They have a variety of Peruvian food and so far all my orders have been well cooked. They do have take out if you prefer that.

Excellent food. Authentic and generous portions. Friendly staff although language differences can occur. The pollo and other meat dishes are very well done. My son is a ceviche fan and says this is the best he's ever had.

This little Peruvian restaurant in a residential section of Dover serves up amazing food at a fantastic price. They food is also presented beautifully, an unexpected plus. Try the lomo, cerviche, hen soup, verde spaghetti with steak, fried rice... It's all so good.

This is a very popular neighborhood restaurant, both lunch and dinner. Success led to a second restaurant on Route 46 called Marino's Cafe. Small but packed with a good Latin menu based on Peru dishes.

They forgot. My order. And I didn't even receive an apology. What bad service. I hope they improve the service. But for my part I will not recommend it to anyone. I had already received details about it and I didn't pay attention.
