My family and I were recommended to try the meals at the Charlotte's Web Inn. A very nice place to eat at. The restaurant needs a little updating, but still has warmth and charm. We were catered to our every delight, even catering to my family's desire for dinner plates when they were serving their lunch menu. I can honestly say the pork chops were divine and the croquettes were super delicious. We were served like kings and queens and we liked that very much.
Thank you for a fabulous meal. We'll definitely be back to try the salmon and some more croquettes.

My boyfriend and I never have to argue or pick each other’s brains to decide where to eat. This place is absolutely wonderful. I’ve been in the restaurant business for almost 20 years and I’ve never found consistency like this in service and culinary. Pure awesomeness ❤️

Went with my mom. It was not her first time but it was mine and the food and service was on point. I would recommend Chicken Salvatore, it was delicious and the portion was enough to bring home for another meal. Would definitely go back to try more.

Went with large group and was very pleased. Excellent food. The pastas, chicken parm, salad, soups were great. Service was excellent. Nice old feel ambiance. Could ask for a better real Italian feel. A definite return. First time there

I am Italian, I learned how to cook from my grandparents, and I’ve eaten in 100+ Italian restaurants around the county and this is the best Italian restaurant I have EVER eaten in. It fees like home with warm service and food that is almost indescribably delicious. The decor and furnishings are dated - part of the charm - there’s nothing fancy about the place - part of the charm - but it is cozy, friendly, has a great menu and the food is truly exceptional. Try the chicken dishes (I’m not a big fan of chicken) they are perfection and just like I grew up eating - maybe even better - don’t skip the cocktails and desert is a must. Have the rum cake. The owners have a bakery in Jersey City and make daily trips. It’s worth every bite, the portions are generous, and the price is more than fair. I can’t wait to go back!

A late valentine's dinner food lovely as usual. Even though early 6PM crowded and noisy. Usually not that loud but they looked short staffed for 2 large groups.

A group of co-workers and I visited on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch since we were in the area. One of my co-workers had been here several times and had family events catered by them. It's a very quaint, charming, and rustic restaurant and bar.
We began with the zippy chicken wings. Delicious. Fried but not greasy and they had a nice little zing to it. Our table ordered the chicken scampi, hot corned beef sandwich, a cheeseburger with sautéed mushrooms, and a cobb salad.
The portions were huge. It was probably one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in several years. Cooked to perfection and juicy. It held up well in the bun. I'll emphasize again that the burger was gigantic. The fries were a bit on the old side and greasy. The chicken scampi was a big hit. Two big pieces of chicken over a bed of spaghetti. The plate went back empty. The amount of corned beef in that sandwich should have been illegal. However, he ate all of it.
No room for dessert but I did take home two pieces of carrot cake for my wife and I later that evening. The carrot cake was excellent and it had the cream cheese frosting which is a must for me.
The service was excellent and very warm. The prices for lunch were very reasonable considering the quality and portion we received. This was a great find for me and I know why my co-worker keeps coming back.

Revisited after many years. Food excellent, a little noisy because a birthday party in main room. A little old fashioned but in a comfy quaint way. All in all a lovely evening.

We haven't been here in over 15 years and decided to give it another try due to the reviews, but we will wait more than 15 years to go back.
Nothing was awful at all. Everything was just "ok". Service was okay. They said all the right things, but they acted like they were SO busy and it was not full, plus there were plenty of wait staff working. The food was okay. I had veal parm which was a good size for the price, but it was drenched in sauce with just a thin square slice of cheese on it. The atmosphere is still as dark and dreary as ever. With all these great reviews and business, they must have enough profit to fix it up a little inside by now. Dover is very up and coming with all the new residences being built and this will not be a place for new young locals.

I usually always have a good experience here. I am a very frequent regular and love the salmon dish. The filet of sole is equally good. The only thing that if I can change is the constant asking if I want fresh black pepper on everything served. That is a little tedious. They also have very good coffee that is a brand they specifically buy just for the restaurant. Very nice family owned restaurant.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Wonderful scungilli salad and cavatelli & broccoli was also very good.The service is attentive. We liked eating in the dining room where the tables have table cloths. The bar area is also available for dining but it’s a little too dark.

This restaurant has stood the test of time. My father and mother had been going to this restaurant for decades. I recently took my father for lunch, and we both enjoyed it while sharing memories. The lemon chicken salad was very good and the lentil and vegetable soup was delicious. We'll be back.
