Even someone allergic to seafood/fish can eat there.

My husband is allergic to all fish and seafood but wanted to treat me on my birthday last December. We ate at the seafood restaurant,Surf in Nashua. There were only 2 entrees on the menu he could eat. He had the crispy brussels sprouts salad which he loved and the chicken dish (the only chicken dish) which he said was delicious . I had scallops, again wonderful, They were very careful not to contaminate his plate with fish/seafood. It is pricy for us, so I think eating there will be for special occasions only.

Nice place to hang out with friends

I went to surf restaurant in nashua nh with my dad, and I enjoyed it very much. I ordered the pan seared seaseme crusted tuna with wasabe mashed potatoes and deeped fried carrots with wine and coke without ice to drink with it which I enjoyed very much. The waitress treated us very nicely. I would definately recomend this restaurant to a friends who want to have a place to hang out. Over all I enjoyed this restaurant very much, and I will definately return back to this restaurant as soon as I can.

My husband and I went to Surf on a Saturday evening and ate outside. Reservations were not being taken; however, we only had to wait about five minutes. We ordered drinks and shared the calamari for an appetizer, which was delicious. My husband ordered the Portuguese stew, which had clams, mussels, fish, shrimp in a broth, and which he enjoyed. I ordered Lobster Kristina. It came in the shell but was detached. It was served in a creamy sauce and was delicious.

Poor customer Service

Tried curb side pick up for this restaurant. No dedicated location to park for curb side. Upon notifying the restaurant of our arrival and availability for curb side, was told by the person on the phone that they can not have their hosts walking up and down Main St; delivering food to people. We had to come inside to obtain our food. Upon entering the restaurant 2 minutes early, was told to wait right where i was ( food was ready 4 minutes late) however what i believe to be the Manager, I was told I could not wait at the location inside I was told I had to move outside. I refused. I examined my order when it was presented to me and the Manager was irritated that i did so. We spoke a few words to each other. I am sorry that i did not continue my examination because the restaurant did not provide me one of the dishes we ordered and paid for. Beware of curb side here they have a poor and inadequate process in place to manage this. Quality of food is good.

Becoming disappointingly average.

Surf used to be a wonderful place to visit. However, our latest visit showed a menu that has become stale, service that has dropped a notch, and food that is not worthy of the price. Also, a VERY loud atmosphere. Hopefully Surf comes back to their previous standards.

Walked away disgusted and hungry!

Arrived at 5:45PM, many tables inside and out empty but only sitting customers at the raw bar and drink bar for the most part. We immediately ordered appetizers raw oysters and king crab legs. The service was so inattentive that we never received silverware, a napkin, or plates. Our $42 oysters came with one sliver of lemon and after 7PM and several inquires the king crab arrived which consisted of 5 literally thin finger length portions of meat for $36. We had tickets to a nearby show at 7:30 so we never ordered dinner and walked away hungry. The food was good but come on, to pay that kind of money and spend that amount of time to walk away hungry? Your money in definitely spent somewhere else. We won't be back.

Best Seafood in Southern New Hampshire

Our favorite restaurant, We go here anytime we want a great meal out and also for Buck a Shuck. Lobster Tortilla is a great appetizer and all of their seafood is very fresh and uniquely prepared. Sushi here is unique and excellent.

Seafood trio...yum.

I was in Nashua for business and stopped here on a Friday night. It was busy but they found me a seat at the raw bar / sushi bar. I had the grilled seafood trio (shrimp, fish, scallops) and it was cooked to perfection.

Dinner away from home.

My wife and I needed to escape the home cooked meals for the night. We had the Lobster Kristina and a Halibut with peach salsa special as well as the Cold Lobster cocktail. Also some Pineapple Painkillas to start. Everything was delicious. By far the best restaurant in southern New Hampshire.

Finally!

Delish! We are new to the area and have visited many restaurants local to Nashua in the last 9 months. By far this was the best! Food was delicious. So many things to choose from that all looked so good. We will for sure be back to try everything on the menu. Special shout out to Alexander out server. He was lovely! Super attentive and on top of everything. For sure will ask to be sat at his station again.

Great atmosphere fabulous food

It was very busy but we were seated immediately. A table near the window is ideal for watching people. Our server Tammy was knowledgeable of the menu and all the daily specials. The menu is seafood based and has a sushi and raw bar as well. Great appetizers and generous pours on the wine and martinis. Tammy is an asset to the restaurant . Our thanks to her for taking great care of us.

"Outstanding teamwork"

My friend and I recently went to the Surf as its been along time since we been there. The servers all behind the bar are super attentive!! They are Josh, Jackie, Erin and Matt which they all work together to serve the customers!! Just cuz you may have your one server at most places, its not like that here, they all ensure everyone is happy with their meals, drinks and service. The food is delicious but portions could be alittle better. Great wine list and they do give a nice pour which is nice.

Always good. Special was amazing

Had a night to myself so snuck out to Surf for dinner. Got the pan seared halibut special which was the end of summer on a plate. Perfectly cooked fish on a bed of sweet corn purée with potato and brussel sprout ‘hash’. Topped with pesto tossed tomatoes. It was end of summer start of fall perfection. Add to that the superb service by Tammy and the lemon meringue cheesecake it was a night out with myself I won’t soon forget.

Amazing food and service!

I mean, what can I say? I've never had a bad meal here. The bartenders are attentive and friendly and even when they're backed up. They still manage to help with whatever you need. The food is phenomenal. I have expanded my seafood horizons and I definitely chose the right place to do that. I'm very new to seafood and a lot of it still scares me. However, the Korean BBQ Scallops and the Baked Seafood Trio, are so delicious. My friend always orders the specials and if I'm brave enough I try them from time to time. So good. Who knew I'd even like sushi!? I've been so lucky to enjoy all of the food and friendly service. One of my favorite places in downtown Nashua~ !

Delicious food on Main St in Nashua

Fantastic meal- delicious food. Visited with a friend on a day trip to NH from Boston. We wanted to find a good dinner spot on Main St in Nashua, and our meal (and server) were superb. We had the specials, plus cocktails. Drinks were delicious, but too icy- next time I'll order neat with ice on the side. Otherwise, meal was excellent. Would love to return!
