Stoped for a late lunch before flying out that evening. We picked the place from reviews and we always like to visit local vs the chain places. We were asked if it was our first time at the diner, where we were from when we sat down to order. I had a Trump Tower burger and it was excellent. What's not to like about a hamburger with a grilled cheese sandwich on the top and bottom as the bun with a big chunk of Mac & Cheese on it. It was a lot of food and was good considering the combination. Unforgently I was too full to have a slice of pie which I understand is a specialty. Later after we were served our food they rang a bell called where we were visiting from and asked us to sign the guest book. I will be back next time through.

Unfortunately this pandemic has forced me to miss my weekly stops at the best comfort food spot in Manchester, New Hampshire. While it is not open 24/7 as usual, it is open for call ahead take out. Robin is a great waitress (as is Stacie) and the food always tastes better when they take my order. I stop in for carry out and the food is great as always. Support the Red Arrow and its spectacular staff during these trying times and don't miss it when things go back to normal and we can eat in the diner and enjoy the environment.

Away in Manchester and 3 spots were suggested during our stay. We decided to go to the Red Arrow Diner. Glad it was our first stop because Red Arrow has set the bar high. It is a small diner; however, the food is served pretty fast so the wait is not that long and if it is it is totally worth it. We ordered a strawberry frappe and it was delicious and thick. For breakfast we ordered the country fried steak hash brown plate, the steak and eggs and a side of pork pie - all delicious. The country fried chicken and gravy were absolutely on point along with the steak tips that were very tender. The pork pie was different....kind of a shepard's pie with crust. Different but good. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. If you're a newbie, please inform the staff. You will be delightfully surprised.

If you want to remember how it was to go to a fun, friendly "diner" where the wait staff is super friendly and the food is great, give the Red Arrow DIner in Concord, NH a try. This is a place right out of the 50's (or earlier) where the booths line the outside wall and the stools make their way all around the counter in the middle. A large menu gives everyone something they are looking for in a good meal, breakfast to dinner, snack to deserts. I personally had breakfast at 1:30PM and it was fantastic. Prices are reasonable and the portions are large... If you should be lucky enough to be there on a day when Kayla is working, she is "THE BEST"... Such a super friendly young lady that took sincere interest in making your visit the best. I even quizzed her on who some of the signature meals were names for and she had the answer without breaking stride. THANK YOU Kayla for making our lunch so enjoyable! You were great...

Classic! You won’t find this type of diner a lot these days. I feel like being in the 60s when entering this cute and unforgettable diner. Hubby always likes to surprise me. He found this thru googling and decided to try it. We sat by the window. There’s a long bar counter, but the first-time visit is always better to sit at a regular table and enjoy the breakfast. I ordered a vegetable omelet with grits, and Hubby had two eggs with potatoes and an English muffin. The coffee mugs are too cute! The diner has “Dinah and Moe” characters they created that stick to everybody’s mind. It’s their motto. The characters appear all around the restaurant, inside and outside, and the coffee mugs. We loved our breakfast here. The coffee was good. Hubby finished his meal, so he got a clean plate award. Woohoo! I didn’t finish my grits, so I took it home. Great music too! In short, this is the breakfast place to be for everybody!

I had a tight window for lunch due to a business meeting but stopped here for lunch anyway. It's a small place, and the wait staff when I was there was only two ladies. All I can say is that they hustled non-stop while I was there. My waitress was eating a small bowl of cooked carrots at the other end of the bar away from the customers between serving customers and ringing up checks. I don't think she took a break. As for the diner itself, it's a New England diner. It's a vestige of a bygone era that still thrives in this part of the country. I had breakfast for lunch, and it was exactly what I expected it to be. If I get back to the area again, I would like to stop by this place and relax this time so that I am not so rushed.

We checked this out because it was 10pm on a Sunday. I had read it was rated a top ten diner in the US and that Guy Fieri said you had to try the pancakes. It is a small, nondescript building off a side street downtown. That late at night there was plenty of street parking to be had. The waitresses were all exactly as you would picture a diner waitress. They were efficient and knew all the regulars by name. We also opted for breakfast since the pancakes were something we wanted to try. The good: Eggs were cooked perfectly, sausage was good. Kiddo liked the eggs benny a lot. Well done hash browns were well done. Great fries. Yummy maple syrup. Coffee was fresh. It had a great diner feel. Fast service. The bad: In the poutine didn’t love the cheese or gravy. Bacon was not great. Toast was cold. Pancakes were impossibly difficult to cut and nothing special. Hash browns didn’t have any flavor. It got really busy while we were there. The people waiting line the wall behind were the diners are sitting at the counter as they wait for a table. It felt very cramped.

While visiting Manchester, NH we stumbled upon the Red Arrow Diner. We arrived and there was a line out of the door. We elected to be seated outside where there was social distancing. We ordered the country bowl which consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, and ham on a bed of hash browns. The dish was flavorful and filling. The coffee was exceptional as they feature coffee from New England Coffee Co. This restaurant is a must when visiting Manchester, NH.

I chose the Red Arrow Diner because I wanted someplace safe. Great atmosphere like walking back in time. I started with the chili and it came in a camp mug which I bought as a souvenir. The chili was a little salty but tasty. I ordered the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was good but not great. Needed something. I had to add salt and pepper. No veggies available so I ordered the bake beans. They were good too. Wish they had green beans or corn. I ordered a cheeseburger to go and that was what I should have ordered. It was excellent. It came with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. For dessert I had the chocolate eclair which was amazing. The service was friendly and 5-stars.

We bought three pies from the red arrow for our families Thanksgiving dinner. One of them was a brownie cream pie. When we cut it after having dinner, we were disappointed to find out that there was very little brownie and a lot of cream. The crust and the brownie was less than an inch high and there was nearly 3 inches of whip cream in the middle. Not a good value for the $21 it cost. After we cut two pieces and the family looked at it nobody wanted to eat it because there was too much whip cream. I took it back to the restaurant the next day and spoke to the girl at the counter. She said that’s the way it’s made and it is all whip cream. She was not interested in my complaint and was not sympathetic at all. So we brought the pie home and put it in the trash. I like the breakfast at the red arrow, but in the future I will always pass on dessert

My family loved the atmosphere of the diner. Luckily it wasn't too crowded when we were there and we could look at all the seats and see who sat where. The display wall of famous customer photos is awesome. Oh - and the food is good too!!! The chili is absolutely terrific. You must try a cup! I also recommend the Chicken Bomb. If it is your first visit to the diner be sure to tell the waitress and you get a surprise. We loved the diner so much, we ate there several times during our visit to New Hampshire!

Stopped in here around 9PM on way through town. Small place with half or more a bar, Dingy. Despite the hype (candidates and celebs seem to have frequented this place) it was pretty poor. Given the voluminous size of the menu one would expect something to be good. But the fried pickles were soggy, clam chowder thin, saltines stale, mac and cheese bland etc etc. Wasn’t too crazy either that folks needed to walk through kitchen to get to the toilet. I cannot recommend.

The place was tiny, but the menu wasquite extensive, with 24 hour breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Mostly standard diner fare - nothing fancy. The service was very good, as was the food. We had steak and cheese omelet, burgers with delicious fries, and mac ‘n cheese. We would definitely return if in the area again.

I got here at 545. Took till 555 to get waited on, they were understaffed . But at time only 4 others in. They asked me to cash out directly after ordering for some reason due to 6am? I added 20% tip. Waited , waited, saw 5 other who came in after I ordered get food. I asked one person why so slow, she was dismissive and said we aren't slow. I said I've waited 30 min and 5 others have been served. Finally my server came my way and I asked. Was told they forgot my order at shift change. She wanted to buy my breakfast I said I've already paid. Reordered took another 10 minutes. Got incorrect toast. The food I did order was good. Not great
