Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to the restaurant because it was recommended by several people. We were very happy with our decision. The staff greeting us was friendly and helpful. I had pasta and meatballs. The food was quite good and portions were large. The building is clean...and well maintained. The restaurant is on a quaint walkable NH Street. We would definitely return.More

I live in Derry and have loved Sabatino's North over the years. A nice little Italian joint that we could always rely on for a great home cooked meal. The owner knew us, the hostess knew us, the bartender knew us, that was great but...the drinks and the food were more the reason for spending our money there. We went there Saturday night a little anxious after the previous week's meal was not so great. What a disappointment! I ordered a side salad and got a bowl of lettuce and a hard tomato wedge. Really? I used to be a real salad! The veal and eggplant parm was greasy, hard and overcooked, my wife's lemon chicken was way over done and looked awful. A 4oz pour of cheap wine was $9.00. You had to go buy new, tiny wine glasses because you sever such high end wine? Woodbridge is crap and J Lohr is just a bit better. What happened? I know it changed hands but how could you screw this up so badly so quickly? Too bad, there will be another owner soon - I hope.More

We had dinner before attending a concert at Tupelos. Our waitress Jody was fantastic - very animated and attentive. We had interaction with the restaurant manager and again very attentive. The food was average. The restaurant was moderately loud. If you are looking for a...quiet meal, this is not the place. it's a restaurant with a pub type of atmosphere.More

Went here on a Saturday night - service was excellent. The food was not very good. Everyone ordered the tour of Italy Chicken parm was dry. The lasagna had no cheese in it and had a bad taste.

Great experience and food! We dined here with the family on a Friday night. It was pretty crowded but we were seated within 20 minutes. All of our meals were hot and delicious. The chicken piccata and chicken Francais were perfect. The chicken and eggplant...Parmesan was excellent and the portion size was tremendous! I highly recommend dining here!More

Our waitress was extremely nice but very busy. We didn't have silverware and after waiting quite a while, got it ourselves. The food was ok, but the quality and portions were not quite what I was hoping for, especially considering the price. The outdoor seating...area was very pleasant and that's honestly the best I could say about it.More

Delicious. The food here is fantastic. I had the veal parmigiana with spaghetti- the sauce is the way my grandmother use to make it, and the veal was tender with a light batter. My wife had a shrimp dish and she said it was fantastic...Definitely a place to visitMore

We met friends for dinner Saturday night. We are from the area and love Sabatino's. Our friends came from out of town. We all are very familiar with nice restaurants and dining in the North End. From the moment we arrived at our reservation time...to the end of the evening, the 4 of us had a great time. We sat on the patio of course which had great atmosphere, and as the sun went down they lit the heaters. The waitstaff was fun and professional. We got drinks, apps, entrees and desert. Everything was nothing short of delicious! Our friends were blown away, and they are quite particular. The prices are quite reasonable especially for the quality and quantity of food. They offer homemade pasta. Our friends even texted us on the way home to let us know again how much they loved Sabatino's. Can't get any better out of Boston.More

Seriously, one of the worst Italian resturants ever, they want be fine dining they need to upgrade their food before they try, their dishes while expensive are far from worth it, actually wrote this for Sabatinos North, because I guess even though it is one...building, they pretend to be 2, fits with the pretend italian foodMore

My wife and I went here for dinner recently and were thoroughly unimpressed. The place is dirty. There was spaghetti on my wife's chair that she had to wipe off when she sat down. Also there was spots of sauce on the paper specials menu....The waitress smelled like cigarettes Also the waitress brought my wife a 2nd glass of wine while she still had a little bit of win left in her first glass. She took the wine from the first glass and dumped it into the 2nd glass. Very classy! My wife ordered the carbonara and I got the veal/eggplant parmesan. We both asked for angel hair and were served spaghetti. The food had no flavor to it at all. Not a place we'd recommend to or anyone or ever go back to.More

After shopping at the Derry Farmers Market, we decided to drop into Sabatinos for drinks and dinner. What a great decision! Sat at the bar and received immediate, attentive service from Joe, the bartender. Great meal, great drinks, and great atmosphere!

The food was terrific! We started with the arancini balls which were tasty. Just a note though, they only give you 3 so difficult to split between 2 couples. The veal braccioletini was delicious and the chicken sabatino was also very good. For dessert we...had the tiramisu which was not what you would expect, there was no coffee or chocolate in this dessert, just vanilla custard and cake. It was kinda weird, would not order this again. Finally, we sat outside under the covered porch which was nice for such a beautiful night. The only issue was that our waitress also had tables inside and it was very difficult to service all her tables appropriately. Ultimately, we only saw her once after we placed our order. Bad decision on managements part. All in all we would definitely go back again.More
