We are locals to the town and had used another Chinese place for many years when we moved into town. We decided one day to try China garden and have been going back ever since. It is a small place in a little strip mall near a busy intersection. Parking is a little tight in front but you can go around to the side and plenty of space. The food is good and we usually try different items each time that we order. One of our favorites is the Kung Pao beef or the happy family. We usually go here about once a month for Chinese takeout. They do have a few booths if you wanted to sit and eat there. There is not a bar at the establishment. The prices are normal Chinese food prices.

I've been going to China Garden for over 17 years and never had a bad experience. People are friendly and the food is always good. My only complaint would be that their beef teriyaki is skimpy compared to other Chinese restaurants, but very tasty. Other than that their food and prices are very good. You will not find a better place in Derry that serves better tasting Chinese, so I highly recommend this place.
The decor is not good at all but what do you expect from a quick pick up Chinese take out. Parking is good and off street and that's always a plus. Workers are very friendly and on point with everything ordered. Not sure why this place is not more popular seeing it is the best place to order from in the Derry area. Well, I hope this review helps you with your decision on where to get take out next time you're craving Chinese.

Ordered in on a Saturday night, delivery was quick. The food was horrible, hot and sour soup was a dark thin liquid with chunks of I don’t know what! Giant shrimp with lobster sauce was also a container of dark liquid with 6 one inch shrimp, hardly giant. Rice was extra. The Cantonese chowmein had no noodles,a lot of bean spouts in a greenish sauce. Not worth it, most of the meal went in the trash.

I go there for takeout. Food is good. My niece also goes their and get food for her entire family. She loves it also as much as I do.
