I was surprise how great this place was. There are no windows in front and you might have thought that you were entering a less than family friendly dining establishment. The opposite. Families...construction workers...ranchers, seniors, etc. They had the best hamburger that I hace had...in a long time. Order the basic 1/2 Pound patty and load it up with toppings at $1 each. Bolo Beer it the spot also.More
We picked up carryout for lunch while passing through. Points for getting the order all correct, but the food itself was rather lackluster.
Crispy chicken sandwich was fine. Homemade chips were soft and did not seem fresh. Onion rings were unremarkable. Philly chicken sandwich was...weird AF. The chicken was ground and overly seasoned with a strange mix of spices. It was not good.More
Not sure why this was rated #2 in Chadron? The server was friendly and she brought free pretzels with our drinks but the food was all frozen and pre-made. Onion rings were below standard, chicken fried steak was average and husband’s grilled chicken was average....The #3 rated restaurant was much, much better!More
I love traveling and eating at small town bars. They have exceptional food and Wilds was no different. The burger was generous and the taste was outstanding, but that is typical of Nebraska, the Beef State. The service was really good, my order was taken...promptly and I was checked on several times.More
Just plain worth it. While on a motorcycle trip we stopped here for lunch. AC works and our waitress was a local college student. So nice to be treated well.
Good distance between diners too. I had French dip. Yummy!
We rode to Nebraska to participate in a Poker Run. A group of us decided to do lunch at this location. I had a burger with Swiss cheese. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. The server was great! Great meal. We’ll be back.
We had a delicious meal at Wilds last night. My husband had a very good rib eye steak and I had a hamburger - we would recommend both entrees. We will definitely eat here again. The service was excellent.
This is a nice, well-lit, clean local bar with a welcoming atmosphere. Known for their SPICY pretzels. (Ask for water before chomping.) Features local and regional craft beers. Could have more IPAs on-hand. (Every place should - ha!) Wait staff - courteous and good workers!...We had a generous half-order of house nachos. A good time was had!More
