We are located in a HUGE brick building called 'The Shane Center' Look for LOVE and you'll find us! We have a unique and super exciting breakfast, brunch and a little bit of everything menu. So glad we stopped

just now We were here recently during COVID, on our way to return to Denver. So glad we stopped in! The food was awesome - my daughter had a waffle with huckleberry bacon and fruit, my son had a vegan burrito, and my husband and I kind of let Faye get creative. My eggs were spicy yet somehow slightly sweet and the vegetables I requested were crunchy, textured, and full of flavor. Next time we are in Livingston we will be back. The server was friendly and helpful. The space is very pretty. Faye is taking protective measures, and we felt safe. So glad she is remaining in business.

Great, Creative Breakfast!!

Faye's is wonderfully unusual! Faye's has a number of items that customers can simply order off the menu, but the magic of Faye's is the Chef's imagination. Using Faye's off-beat menu board, diners can select up to four words or phrases and leave it to the chef to create something special. I selected "Meaty and Cheesy" and "Eggs Benny" and told the waiter to leave the rest to the Chef. She created an unbelievable Eggs Benedict on grilled sourdough. It seemed to have a light spicy jam which I think was huckleberry with some jalapeno influence. Upon that she layered grilled ham, huckleberry bacon, pulled pork, and a poached egg. As a side ws a delicious mixture I believe was grits with some onion and cheese, as well as a touch of fresh fruit on the side. My wife's breakfast was equally delicious and creative. Our server was excellent and we would highly recommend the experience!

Skip everything and go to Faye’s Cafe. Sarah Faye combines creativity, culinary skill and love into a place that welcomes you like a big hug and then proceeds to make you feel like you never left... and never want to. The food, the food, the food! Pick a few adjectives and words from the menu and let it happen. I went with Bennie, Savory, colorful and bacon. What came back was simply the best eggs Benedict creation I’ve ever had with a side of Faye’s Huckleberry bacon. Perfectly poached eggs, savory sauce, and a lightly toasted bread under the eggs which soaked up the sauce and was sublime.

The most unique eatery

You need this place in your life. GO! HURRY! We took our three children 11, 10, and 7 and we had the best brunch before our trip to Yellowstone. You get this menu with about 100 words on it, lots of adjectives and some food items. You pick some words and she creates a dish for you~you read that right, she creates something JUST FOR YOU! Its a amazing and a must if you are into eating delicious concoctions! We all gave it two thumbs, way, way up.

Fun, creative, cool beans!

We couldn’t decide so we picked 9 words for three dishes. My girlfriend said some words never spoken aloud in all of history; ‘I never knew I wanted waffles and Mac and cheese in my quesadilla until now!” Emily our host, server and spiritual food advisor really kept the good positive vibes. Come in with an open mind and positive attitude and you’ll leave enlightened with your belly enfullened.

Staying in town to visit family, this place was suggested for us to check out for breakfast. Having travelled a long way from our home we slept in and arrived at Fayes Cafe at 11:45am. Waitress advised us that they usually stop allowing customers in at noon (as they close at 1pm) but seated us. Interesting eclectic menu with a few items I was not really interested ih for breakfast, but I was hungry. Coffee was really good, food arrived fast. Portions were small, but were tasty. It was good, but not the traditional breakfast fare I am used to having, or wanted. This place is good for what it is, but I am not sure I will return as the offerings don't really suit me.

Cutesy artsy café

This cute little gem is hidden in the midst of suburbia and inside a children's theatre. It's like eating in a classroom with gorgeous walls covered in art. Excellent coffee and a fun/ambiguous menu. Faye the owner certainly aims to please! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had a very simple breakfast and my scrambled eggs were cooked a little strangely and the menu itself was a bit overwhelming. Other than that, I definitely recommend. Decent prices as well.

What a fun and creative place!

My husband, teenage son, and I popped in this lovely little gem yesterday for a quick breakfast on our way from Yellowstone to Bozeman airport. We wanted something yummy for breakfast and so I looked on TripAdvsior (naturally) for the best place in Livingston. We definitely found it. The owner/chef was kind enough to accommodate our speedy meal request. Sure wish we had more time, though, to really enjoy. Her creations are divine and unique! All three of us left happy and full. My hubby and son are big eaters and they were super satisfied. Everyone should try this place. But go with time to really enjoy the ambience and concept.

This is the best place! Creativity abounds- the food, the menu, including the environment. We are impressed each time we eat here when we are in Livingston.. Hubby had the salmon Benedict, I had the waffles. They were great. What’s really terrific is the team. Fay cooks the meals, serves the meals and still has time to autograph the cookbook (and we even bought Christmas gifts here-right off of our table! Beautiful hand blown juice glasses and locally made pottery mugs!). We love this place. It’s serious with attitude.

Best breakfast, EVER! My daughter (8) is very picky about breakfast and they made it a magical delight that brightened her entire day. I had the daily special which was hands down the most scrumptious breakfast I've had in years. The artful creation and loving kindness that accompanied our meal will forever make this a treasured spot.

I love Eggs Benedict but want my eggs cooked - NO runny yolk! - and usually don't order them because it's such a hassle. This amazing place did not disappoint! I was seated where I could watch the lone lady cook absolutely perform a ballet - and salivated as I watched each dish come out to be served. I will be going once more this year to my ranch 75 miles away and am going to plan my route so I can experience this place again.

Faye's Cafe, what can I say

Faye's food for Breakfast and Lunch is always freshly prepared, and delicious. The atmosphere is homey, and it is favorite spot for locals in an old school building. Upstairs from Faye's is a really good little bookstore, and it is a great place to combine breakfast or lunch and a meander through Conley's bookstore.

Not what we thought

Wasn't impressed. We went because of all the good reviews. I had the French toast, 3 halfs,and my husband had biscuits & gravy, eggs, and bacon. The French toast was rather bland. I thought it was way overpriced for what we got $36 and I drank water. Service was good and place was clean but wouldn't go back.

Beat Breakfast EVER…

Prepare to not be in a hurry but the wait is well worth it! If you are fortunate to be one of the forty who get to dine there, you won’t be sorry! I’ve eaten all over the world and it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The breakfast burrito with biscuit and gravy was amazing. The stuffed jalapeño and huckleberry bacon was exceptional. Had a bite of the cinnamon biscuit and it was great as well. Faye was kind enough to sign a cookbook and talked for a few minutes before we left. It’s a place worth making any diner’s bucket list! The staff was gracious and friendly.

Unfortunately our family of 4 had terrible meals. Two members were vegetarian and their plates were a combination of leftovers. Truly inedible The cinnamon rolls were the size of a small biscuit. So disappointing and expensive. We love the environment and our server was a delight but the meal was awful
