Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Do yourself a favor and don’t pass up this place. Hands down one of the best subs I’ve ever had! My husband and I split a half Dragon Slayer and it must have had a lb of meat and cheese in it. Great Italian rolls...held it all together. One of the best bites we had on our trip.More

The sandwiches are huge. The service was very fast. I had the ham and it was pretty great. Also they have ice cream. The lemon cream was great.

We were visiting family in Livingston and they got sandwiches for lunch for us from Pickle Barrel. They got Bobcat Specials. Holy Smokes! These sandwiches were ginormous! We each only ate 1/2 a sandwich and that was more than enough. The amount of meat on...each one was ridiculous in the best way. And, while I didn’t pay for them, I looked up the price. For what we got, the price was more than reasonable. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to pay for or eat a Subway sandwich again without wishing we had Pickle Barrel in our neck of the woods…More

My wife and I were visiting from Pennsylvania and were hungry for a good Italian sub. We loved the Italian rolls they use and the amount of meat on the subs. We both a large and we’re surprised how big they were. We actually could...have split one large if we knew how big they were. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly. We would definitely go back over and over if we ever found ourselves in Livingston again.More

What a shame. Everything is way overpriced. A tourist trap that wouldn't survive without tourists. No chance I would return.

This old favorite was Not on the menu but they gladly substituted blue cheese for me. My belly is cheesesteak happy.

The food was so good, I didn’t even wait to finish before I did this review!! Thanks to covid we had to eat in our truck but we enjoyed the view of the mountains as we ate. Great prices and huge sandwiches!

Delicious sandwiches - fresh ingredients, generously portioned. Nice, friendly staff. Good value. No dining room seating (thanks to covid), so no real atmosphere to speak of. Otherwise - super experience overall.

We split a large Italian sandwich and a can of pepsi and it came to just under $19. This is quite expensive compared to where we come from, you can get a large sandwich for $5.79. However it was very tasty and the smoked meat...on it was great.More

After walking through many of the shops on Main street, we decided to split a sandwich. The Pickle Barrel was a great choice. The staff was very helpful making sure we understood the sizes of their sandwiches. They can be huge! I was very pleased...at the generous amount of meat which is always better than being overloaded with secondary items. They offered good desserts and the store was very clean. Highly recommended.More

Classic sub place. Any of the cheese steaks are good. Awesome tuna sandwich. You can call ahead to order and go eat at Sacajawea Park.

This was a great find on the way to Yellowstone. But be advised that a 1/4 sandwich is enough to feed most travelers. The ice cream is local and really good.

We stopped into The P.B. on our way to Yellowstone, because the reviews were good. The restaurant advertises an 18-inch sandwich, which I thought would be a special order. It turns out the big fella' is their basic large sandwich! A tasty gut buster it...was, and our entire party was impressed by the quality (and quantity) of the food.More
