OMG, just a perfect experience. And how often do you say that about a restaurant. Seated promptly, efficient service without the "hi guys, my name is Shane" experience. Instead, professional, well timed, attentive without being intrusive, didn't miss the "this dish is my fave on the menu" pitch which one often gets in a restaurant.
And the food? Yes! Yes yes yes. Delicious, imaginative. Loved the room, too.

We had an amazing dinner experience at Campiones! 27 family and friends met here for outstanding apps and Italian wines along with a 4 course dinner to die for! They were great to work with as we were coming from out of state (Minnesota). We asked for AV resources (a slide show during dinner) and they complied! They wanted to be sure that everything was perfect--and it was absolutely amazing! Thanks to the very fine staff and chef who helped create a magical evening!

Always a visit when in Livingston. The food is both creative and wonderful. We love the ambiance of this restaurant. The team is warm and friendly and helpful. And the owner makes sure you are happy. I always get the homemade pasta and hubby gets the lamb or fish. We have yet to be disappointed here and always look forward to this very special unique dining experience.

My wife and I booked a table on our anniversary, and it turned into one of the best dining experiences we've had. The wine selection that evening was limited, but we ordered two selections that paired wonderfully with our meals. We had a wonderful appetizer of fritto misto, followed by (her meal) pasta dei campioni, which featured homemade pappardelle with roasted mushrooms, kale, pecorino, and cracked pepper, and (my meal) pan seared flathead lake trout, which they had filleted and prepared in a delicious rub of spices. We thought it unusual that no bread was served,but we're thankful for the remainder of appetite for the dessert course, which topped everything. I had a terrific olive oil cake with the most delicious whipped cream, and my wife had the best dessert of her life: chocolate budino, an incredible, rich chocolate heaven. Service was attentive, the food arrived quickly, and every dish was prepared with care and pride. We will definitely be returning here in the future.

Excellent atmosphere, great service and simply the best food in town--local, fresh and impeccably prepared and tasty. Although some portions are a bit small, they are amply seasoned to perfection by a masterful chef and his helpers. Jeff, co-owner and host is friendly and the staff were all great. You must make reservations for dinner as it is always full.

Lunch today at Campione is deserving of a stellar review. I started with the Kale salad which included crispy prosciutto, tomato, roasted fennel and mint lightly dressed with Mediterranean Goddess. My entree of Dolmas consisted of mushroom risotto wrapped in Swiss chard over roasted veggies with a roasted garlic cashew cream topped with fresh pea shoots. I could not taste any mushroom in the risotto but still loved the dish. My husband opted for the house meatballs (beef and pork) and red sauce with pecorino with a lovely caper berry on top. Served with delicious, crusty house made bread and a perfectly dressed arugula salad. He really enjoyed it. We were served by the very helpful Kate. A nice addition to the team! Thank you for a great lunch. We will be back.

This gem in Livingston rivals any New York or Paris Restaurant I have been too. From its daring daily specials including rabbit and duck to delicious homemade pasta, the flavor is so rich and perfectly seasoned you will eat every morsel even though you are past full. The intimate space allows you to see the chef and chat with your new best friend Jeff who asks - Are you having fun? It is like being an honored guest at a wedding. This place is not to be missed.

Well, I guess I’m a little mystified. Campione is rated 12 in Livingston. What a joke! The people queued up knew better. This restaurant is special. Our hosts at Stones Throw B&B had recommended it and they were spot on. Our party of four had to wait a few minutes for our table because the previous party was reluctant to leave—I can understand why. When we were seated, the owner was most helpful. The antipasti might be the hit of the menu. Two of our party had the lamb Ragu, and two of us had the linguine with meatballs. Everything was homemade and everything was delicious.
There are simply no downsides to this restaurant. The place was packed to the seams on a Wednesday night, so the folks in Livingston know and appreciate the excellent food.
As we live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, I’m not sure we’ll be back to Livingston any time soon. However, if we do return, Campione will be our restaurant of choice.

Our first visit will not be the last !!!! Campione Roman Kitchen has brought a very high level of cuisine and professional service to Livingston. The ownership team of 3 highly experienced, creative and professional restauranteurs and chefs present a creative menu, wine list and quality food as good as any in the region. From the welcome by Jeff as we arrived to the last words of thanks as we left we had a marvelous experience.
As a 40+ year hospitality industry veteran holding senior management positions in Marriott Hotels and Princess Cruises Resorts as well as having owned 2 restaurants and a hotel, I can safely say this new opportunity in Livingston is the real deal.
While relatively new, Campione will soon be drawing guests from far and wide as the word spreads of their outstanding reputation.

My wife is vegan and I am a opportunivore and both celebrated the menu and the food. The menu promised fascinating ingredients and the chef delivered exquisite flavors. The wait staff was attentive and completely engaged with the food experience. We will be back.

Last night we went with a group of friends to Campione and nearly all of us ordered the Sea Bass dinner, It was fantastic, cooked perfectly and in a wonderful sauce with capers, garlic, onion and red rice risotto. What a treat to find such a wonderful meal to share with our friends. We also enjoyed 3 of the appetizers; and I was so fond of the Castelvetrano olives in oil I ordered a little container to take home.
Don't miss this restaurant in Livingston, MT, if you are passing through.

Outstanding brand new restaurant. We were traveling through and happened upon this wonderful eatery. Great ambience, authentic food, reminded us of Tuscany. Our friends had pasta dishes, and we enjoyed the flathead trout specialty. We finished with a lovely cake topped with orange peel and whipped cream. Of course we had some fine Italian wine. We give Campione an A+!

Fine dining, relaxed atmosphere. Party of 4 girlfriends, served by Jeff himself. We ordered different dishes and all happy. Shared appetizer of heirloom tomatoes, grown locally, fantastic. Textures, seasoning, portions, flavors...it's all there.

Cute little cafe with GREAT food! Everything was really fresh. They only opened in 2020, hence why there aren’t many reviews yet. Would highly recommend especially for a nice lunch.

Our group of seven came for dinner after a long day of travel. It was a very pleasant welcome to Montana.
Our solution to the question of what to order was to order one of everything on the menu. The good kept coming at a pace that just matched our capacity to absorb it. The variety gave everyone something to love. And the service was infectiously friendly and welcoming.
