Super quaint little coffee shop in an old converted home located in historic Livingston. We weren't sure we were on the right street until we pulled up front. There it was, nestled in an a very old residential area. As we exited our car, we were entheusically greeted from a front window and directed to the left entrance where we stepped into a very small prep area and pastry display counter. We ordered a "spicy burrito" and told they are very large so we decided to split it, and added a fresh croissant filled with cream cheese and blueberry compote with sliced strawberries. We added two black coffees and were invited to walk around the display case into two adjoining rooms where we picked a table by a window overlooking a garden where the front yard once was. The interior was fully decorated with antique tables, chairs, wall adornments, and many live plants. There was the scent of incense was in the air as well as background music by The Rolling Stones. We sipped wonderfully rich black coffee from antique vase shaped cups to the tune of "She comes in colors, Angie, you can't always get what you want, and wild horses." The croissant was obviously fresh, and the huge burrito presented with guacamole, sliced peppers, and strawberries. We struggled to finish all we were brought even we split the burrito between us. The ambience put me in a time and place more than 50 years past which I found uplifting. This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was for us. Wished I had a cup of that coffee at home this morning...

They say you can't go home again, but sometimes you can and when you do I hope you get lucky enough to have a Coffee Cafe tucked away in your neighborhood like Eastside Coffee. This gem of a coffee spot has a gorgeous garden area to enjoy your fresh brewed coffee with an amazing assortment of fresh pastries and delicious home-cooked breakfasts to choose from. Adorable little cafe tables line the sidewalk, and MAJOR BONUS, your dog is welcome to join you! The owners are friendly, the coffee is 5-Star, the pastries are to die for, the location takes you off the beaten path of downtown to a quiet neighborhood with mature foliage & quiet streets that feel more like a park setting than a business. Take the road less traveled and visit and enjoy this tucked away treasure for yourself. You will not be sorry you did!

What a lovely discovery! This coffee, breakfast, pastries, drinks place is heavenly. Delicious food, the staff is like visiting a loving relative friendly, the setting is casual and quaint and it brings a sense of peace and joy. My friend and I discovered this place on Clark Street around the Holidays and has become a go to...even when we have to drive about 30 miles from Bozeman. Since then they opened one in downtown Livingston and it is just as great as the original on Clark Street. ♥️ Carmen Mayer

Tucked away in Livingston, Montana, Eastside Coffee offers a retreat where warmth and a familial atmosphere take centre stage. This place has mastered the art of making each patron feel right at home, a rarity that elevates a casual visit to something quite memorable. The garden presents an everyday kind of magic with its welcoming setup by the pond, inviting birds that add a lively backdrop to your visit — it’s a small oasis where simplicity and nature coexist harmoniously. The food here is simply great, bringing comforting dishes to the table without overdoing it; a perfect complement to the relaxed surroundings. And while the menu delights with its straightforward yet excellently executed offerings, there’s always room for a pleasant surprise, showcasing a fine balance between familiarity and a sprinkle of creativity. Eastside Coffee is that serendipitous find that makes you appreciate the beauty in the ordinary. It’s not just a place to eat, but a destination that offers an experience rooted in simplicity, yet marked with unexpected joys and a genuine, heartfelt connection.

There is a really fun place to sit and enjoy a delicious homemade croissant with a number of excellent fills. One thing is sure, you go away feeling full of good food and good cheer. There is an easy take out service. The people who run this little restaurant are friendly and helpful. If you are after a good breakfast, this is a good place to go!

Delightful place filled with charm and extremely welcoming. The coffee is perfect and the best, the very best croissant ever... Raspberry with triple cream brie cheese. Shared it with my husband and he agrees!

Just had the most wonderful morning sitting outside in the garden drinking coffee and eating delicious pastries. My friend and I split the pesto buffalo mozzarella croissant and the danish and both were DELICIOUS!!! If you’re in Livingston, you have to try Eastside Coffee. The owners and staff are incredibly kind too!

Just read all of the other reviews and you’ll understand. Fantastic pastries, tasty and very large egg entrees(might consider splitting), great coffee, all presented in a ‘never duplicated’ casual atmosphere ‘inside and out’.
