It claims to have New York and Detroit style pizzas. I don't know about that, but it is good pizza for Montana. Small, primarily take out place. Has a a small counter to sit inside and a few tables outside close to the highway. Good sauce . The Detroit pizza was new to me and I was suprised at how good and light it was. Has a limited amount of pizza by the slice on certian days and times (not all the time).

Pretty good pizza for Kalispell. Someone told me that they had real NY style pizza but not even close but to be fair, I don’t think they advertise it as such. The calzone was excellent. Didn’t try the deep dish. The order was ready when they said it would be - a real good sign these days …

I’m pleasantly surprised! I was thinking this was probably just one more mediocre pizza place serving up good, but average pizza. I was delighted to find and enjoy a delicious, above average pizza. I had the deep dish Hawaiian. An excellent, flavorful crust with a great cheese crust around the edges. The amount of toppings was ample and not greasy as some with a good amount of cheese can be. I didn’t expect to say this, but this may well become a regular pizza visit for me. Highly recommend.

Staying at a nearby hotel and saw the reviews, so I ordered a Montana Meat Lovers Pizza. Wow, it was absolutely the best pizza I have had in years.
Great crust, chewy, crispy edges, wonderful tomato sauce, and pepperoni, ham, sausage and bacon, with lots of cheese to complete the toppings.
You will not be disappointed.

After a day of driving through Glacier Nat’l Park we were hungry. Passing through Kalispell we decided to try Ranger Joe’s Pizza after reading the great reviews. It did not disappoint! We happened to be greeted by the owner as we walked in. He was so kind & helpful. We ordered the NY Road to the Sun pizza. It was excellent! We loved the toppings & the crust. The pizza was baked to perfection!
We didn’t realize it was only carryout or delivery. They had a small bar top seating area inside & some seating outside also. If you’re in the area I’d definitely check it out!

Fantastic pizza, true Detroit style and New York style pizza. New York style is thin and foldable while the Detroit style is thick, airy and crispy. Toppings are delicious and fresh. I opted for a Detroit style slice and plain garlic bread. Delicious and perfect.
The only con is the lack is seating. This place is made for takeout. I hope they have the ability to expand and add seating in the future, but for now it’s one counter with a few seats.
Joe has been making pizza for a long time and it shows. This is the best pizza in Kalispell. Definitely going back, again and again.

Was staying in the HGI across the street and just wanted a quick pizza and thought we’d try this place!! Super friendly staff and we loved our pizza!! Wish they made salads too but highly recommend this place! Got a New York style round and it was delicious!

Great pizza with a yummy and crunchy crust. Tried the Road to the Sun pizza and loved it. We were only in Kalispell for four days and we ate there twice. Would have happily taken more home! Give it a try!

We were staying in Kalispell while visiting Glacier NP. Chose Ranger Joe's because of the great reviews it got. They were spot on. We got the Road to the Sun. It was one of the better pizza's I've ever had.

So, I'd like to think that I know pizza. I've been around the country and have tried pizza in many places. I'm from NY, and I've had some really great pizza. There are only a handful of places that I consider really good throughout the country. Well, now I have another one.
I spoke to the owner, Joe, and I love his story. He is the real deal. His staff was super attentive and helpful. I asked the young man behind the counter if the pizza was good. He replied with, "it's the best in Kalispel". I asked about the sicilian? He said it was the best. So, I had to try it. The pie came out pretty quick. As I had my first bite, I knew that this was a great Sicilian pie. OMG. The flavor was awesome. Great sauce. Fantastic dough, which is what a Sicilian is all about. I came in for a slice and ended up eating half of my Sicilian pie.
From the moment you walk in, the vibe is real nice and positive. The service was good. And the food was very good.
This is a must. Don't waste your time with any other place while here. It doesn't get any better than Ranger Joe's.

We ordered two pizzas to go. We ordered the meat and the white pizza with sausage. The pizza is excellent. We were impressed and will definitely make this a go to option!

Amazing pizza and the Honey hot chicken breadsticks are incredible. Great pizzeria in South Kalispell. Orders were quick and the staff is courteous and professional.
