Another Good Meal

Again we found ourselves at this Applebees as we passed through Helena on our way home to Calgary. And again we had Janet as our server. She really did an excellent job, and steered us towards the small taco appetizer when we told her that all we each wanted was a small meal. They were delicious.

Great place for light munching

Stopped for lunch. I ordered my usual-Chicken salad - was slightly disappointed to see that the ingredients were smaller in size and yet, the price was higher. The salad still had good flavor but less of it. We were mid afternoon, so there was no waiting. The music was a little bit too loud for allowing comfortable talking.

Fancy Like Date Night At Applebees

Applebees is consistent and good. Our server was great, food came out quick and as ordered. This Applebees was clean and well presented. Just go and enjoy Bourbon Steak and Whipped cream on your Oreo shake

Waited 40 minutes and no food. We observed others who arrived after us that was served and left before we were even heard anything from someone who appeared to be a manager. Another individual told us that the grill was cooking burgers and they had no room for the steak and ribs we ordered. This isn't the first time we sat there for better than 30 minutes for our order. Guess burger orders take precedence over any thing else.

Food Was Very Good And The Service Was Great

Stopped here for lunch. They were busy, but still very efficient getting people seated and getting their orders. We had a wonderful waiter. He was friendly, enthusiastic and took good care of us. He kept our tea glasses full and checked to make sure our meal was great. I ordered the French Onion soup and raspberry tea. The soup was hot, gooey with cheese with a thick slice of French bread in the middle, luscious!! My husband ordered the Prime Rib dip sandwich and tea. The sandwich was thick with thin sliced prime rib, fried onions and melted cheese, Excellent!! And I swear the Au Jus for the sandwich was French onion soup! It was thick and full of chopped onions. So Good! You really need to try these items at your next meal. Too good for words!

the service was terrible! We sat there for 20 minutes before a gal finally waited on us after a guy walked past us 5 times and just ignored us. there wasn't 2 tables in our area that had people at them and when my wife asked for water with no ice, the waitress brought a glass full of ice! The food was ok but there are too many other places with much better service!

Looking a Little Old

The last time we dined in this place was a couple of years ago while on our drive between Calgary and Palm Springs. It looked quite dated then, and on this occasion it was even more dated and needs some lipstick to make it look fresher. Regardless, this is a very busy place, and the food is Applebee’s (decent) quality. My wife and I enjoyed our Asian Chicken salads and a couple of drinks. Good Service.

Not easily accessible for mobility impaired individuals

Friendly staff members although difficult for a mobility impaired person to navigate as the ramp to the tables is all the way at the other side from the entrance. By the time my dad has made his way to the ramp and back to the tables with his walker he is exhausted. We have always had good service but unfortunately it is too hard for my dad to navigate so we’ll be choosing other restaurants in the future.

Good Meal

We received good service and the food was tasty as well. Since we had just arrived from Alberta where there is a mask and two dose vaccination for anyone who wishes to dine in a restaurant, we were a bit taken aback by the approach here, which was "anything goes". The place was very busy, full of mask-less families.

Nice dinner - good service

Nice place for quick dinner. Located near the airport. Good selection on their menu. Food was fine and the service was attentive.. Large bar area in center with sports TV's playing.

We stood at the door and were asked by five staff members if we were being helped - so good service. Wait staff friendly and helpful and our food arrived promptly. Good selection of food. Would eat there again. This restaurant was true to the brand.

Saying this restaurant is a typical Applebee's is a compliment as I have found them very consistent in their delivery and food quality. This one did not disappoint. Our server Matthew was especially attentive.
