Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a family reunion at Chico Hot Springs, just a few miles from this restaurant. Most of our group ate breakfast together at Chico; they have a really nice breakfast buffet. But the group wanted to eat off-site together one evening. We picked Follow...Yer Nose, because, well, we did just that. Well, when we got there, we asked if they could serve our very large group (about 35, including children). They said, sorry, we don't have enough food. So several went to find somewhere else, while some determined people in our group stayed in line. (This is the type of restaurant where you order at the counter, then they call your name when your order is ready. You seat yourself at picnic tables). Eventually everyone came together and we waited in line, and each family group ordered their own. The chalkboard menu kept changing as certain items gave out. Everyone in our group finally got to order and got their food. I think there were maybe 4 or five people behind us that got food before they had to turn people away. Well, bless their hearts, the staff was overwhelmed with the number of customers they had that night, but they did a great job of keeping on until all the meat, and most sides, were gone. We considered our group very fortunate that we stayed and all got served. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous. I want to add something about the sauces. Now as any Bar-B-Q aficionado knows, there are many different styles of B-B-Q across the country, and one of the defining differences is the sauces. This place had the most sauce choices of any B-B-Q restaurant I've been to. I think 7 or 8? It's a B-B-Q lovers paradise. (Which is apropos, since it is located in Paradise Valley).More

We visited the food truck outside of Gardiner. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Our group had lunch from here the last day before we left town. Our only regret was not finding it until the last day. Brisket and pulled...pork were off the charts good. They also have great tasting sauces. We only found this place because we were referred by our river rafting guides Jason and Dante from Montana Whitewater Rafting and Zipline.More

I highly recommend this place if you like BBQ. The extremely friendly woman we spoke with on our second day (an experience unlike that on our first day) was kind enough to take our food order in the morning and make sure there'd be what...we wanted in the evening, because they do run out. The baby back ribs are so delicious, I didn't put any sauce on them. I did sauce my brisket, however, but used their tangy sauce, as the others were too hot for my palate. I can't begin to think of what Bear Mace tastes like (probably actual bear mace). Great selection of beers, and a super casual atmosphere make this a must-dine place for your Paradise Valley visit.More

Found this little gem near our AirBnB in Paradise Valley. Saw the ratings and had to give it a go. It is extremely casual, overly friendly and if the BBQ smell doesn’t entice you as you get out of your car, you should just go...home. We were warmly greeted by a sweet “ginger” who welcomed us and took our order. She made recommendations to food and drink and we received our food in about 15 mins. We ordered coleslaw on both sandwiches and they missed one. So they made it right. No big deal. They forgot our ice tea; went back to get it-no big deal. Food was excellent. So good I went back up and got another sandwich. We had the pork, brisket and sausage sandwiches (3). Loved it all. My nice girl brought me a cooking to make unnecessary mends for the tiny hiccups on our order. They care that much about getting it right. My suggestion? Stop even if you are not hungry. Between the food, craft beers and iced tea…can’t go wrong!More

After being in town for a few days, I can say this place has the best food in the area. We ordered the brisket, pulled pork, bbq beans, and coleslaw. The food was hot, perfectly prepared, and good tasting. It was a bit pricey, but...we are realizing that food in this area is going to be higher than normal. We would definitely return!More

We visited with friends on a warm Sunday in August and had a wonderful meal with ice cold beer. My wife had pulled pork and I ordered brisket. Sides of baked beans, slaw and pasta salad. Local beer topped off the lunch. A little pricey...but worth it.More

This is one of the few seasonal BBQ operations in the country, but it was certainly hopping on the Saturday when we visited at lunchtime. Scanning license plates in the parking lot suggests that it is equally popular with locals and tourists. Everything that we...sampled was top-notch. $20 purchased a half pound of fatty brisket, and 6 ounce sides of burnt end baked beans and collard greens. The sides here are all house made, and the meat locally sourced. We judged the brisket to be the best that we have eaten in Montana-- high end meat that, on this particular day, was beautifully smoked over apricot wood (a first in our now 30 state odyssey). The rub was traditional central Texas, and it generated fabulous bark. Can't go wrong with the brisket here, and the sides definitely hold their own.More

$33.00. Two sandwiches and a pint of beans. Meat was tasty but boring with nothing but squirted on sauce from the self serve counter. Buns were buttered and toasted. Beans were with “burnt ends” but maybe one piece of end. They did have some onion...chunks. Nothing is served with the sandwiches. The part I am getting to really dislike is when the girl who took the walk up counter order (and whom I spent 15 seconds with) spins the pad for my signature and the loaded tip amounts are 20% and up. I worked in the service industry and am all for tips but not those amounts. I left a 10% tip for the few seconds we spent together. $3.00. Check on that BBQ joint.More

This was our go to place for amazing food during our recent stay near Emigrant. My son and I both agreed that this was the BEST BBQ we’ve ever had! Meats come off the smoker at 5:00 pm and are sold until gone. We tried...the brisket, pork, sliced turkey, burnt ends and half chicken. I’m still dreaming of that smoked turkey! We were lucky to get burnt ends as we purchased the last 1/2# at 5:50 pm (apparently they go FAST when on the menu). The burnt end baked beans- WOW! We opted for eating all of the meats “as is” - fresh off the smoker with no BBQ sauce added. A definite MUST try if in the area. YUM!More

The rest of my party had the carne of course and loved every bite. Side dishes are also excellent. Only a few of the outdoor tables are in the shade- some umbrellas should be added since the sun was broiling us. The BBQ and adjacent...bakery are worth a detour!More
