Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In an area with lots of great cafes and bakeries, Coffee Pot is at the top. Excellent scones, pies, and biscuits & gravy. Also great to grab a quick take home meal, they sell take and heat lasagna, enchiladas, and chicken pot pie. Also great...pottery & gifts, some might find it expensive, but our dining set is some of the best designed and durable we've ever owned.More

What a gem of a cafe! We discovered it by chance and are sooo grateful for that. I had a coconut scone and my husband had a classic apple pie, coffee and hot chocolate. Everything was delicious. The scones were warm and crumbly, moist and...perfectly sweet but not too much. I am still sitting here as I write this review because I’m blown away by the excellent service and friendliness of the staff, the cuteness of this little cafe and the deliciousness of the pastries. The pottery is beautiful, there are cookbooks and lots of other goodies. The owner came by and chatted with us and was so fun to hang with. Will def visit again next time we are in MTMore

We stopped for tea and to check out the pottery. The place is quite nice and has lots of pastries to choose from. We enjoyed looking at the pottery and other gift items. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is that...tea wasn’t hot. This place is definitely worth a stop.More

Amazing baked goods and sandwiches for lunch. Good coffee and beautiful pottery that makes a great gift...even if its a gift to yourself. Hubs said the biscuit made the Biscuits & gravy. Locally owned by the same family for decades. They also have pies to...go if you need a dessert for a dinner!More

It was good. Kind of expensive. My husband did not like his drip coffee, but my breve was great. The quiche was small but good, and the grilled cheese was great.

We tried this place based on reviews from Trip advisor. Pastries were fantastic, very nice staff, we thought the coffee was not the best. Next time we are in town we would stop by for the snacks, but get our coffee down the street.

A small menu, but so good! My husband had Josh's Grilldy, and I had quiche. We liked it so much we came back for lunch on another day and had the same things! I did try a different quiche, and both were good. They're only...open for breakfast and lunch, but you could buy dinner for later. They had whole lasagnas, chicken pot pie, enchiladas, pies, etc. made up and ready to go. And the pastry case was loaded with scrumptious looking items!! It's a unique little place with lots of quality handmade pottery to browse through while you're waiting. The owners and the staff were all very welcoming.More

We stopped in on our way to the airport for a cup of coffee & a snack. We loved this cozy little log cabin atmosphere were they specialize in homemade desserts including pie & cookies. They also sell various on site hand made pottery items...with mountain themed designs. We bought this beautiful coffee mug. My wife said her hot chocolate was exceptional and my Latte was very good as well. We split a superb slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. I don't know how I can ever drive past here again without stopping in, the next time we are heading to Big Sky we will definatley buy a whole pie to take with us to enjoy during our stay.More

Cozy bakery, cafe, giftshop (pottery, soaps, mittens, etc). Wonderful rhubarb bar (all the more for being available in winter!), very good lemon bar and maple cookie. Peach pie a bit bland w/ too much flour. Free parking out front, very nice people.

We enjoyed some of the best coffee we have ever tasted at The Coffee Pot Cafe. It was so good, we returned the next morning. We were vacationing in Bozeman; and if life takes us back to Bozeman, we will, most certainly, visit this coffee...shop, again. The lattes, made with homemade caramel and vanilla syrups, were so very tasty. The quality of the coffee was excellent, too. In addition to the coffee, we enjoyed the ambience of the shop, itself. Set in a pottery shop, it was filled with lovely pottery, of course. Meaningful sayings, also, decorated the shop, and lifted us, as we read them.More
